change the voting process\so many votes per category
There are so many choices to vote on now, change the process to give people more votes. An example might be so many votes in a particular category. For example, this many votes within cover-art changes. This many votes within networking support, etc.

allow override when part of a compilation contains one artist
The way it seems to work is that if there is a compilation that contains more than a certain percentage of a given artist, Bliss wants to tag the compilation as being by that artist.
One example: I have an 8 cd set of 16th century music. One of those CDs is all one artist, and Bliss wants to put that CD into the artists directory. I would like it to be part of the compilation.

Fix the installer. (Installing setup.exe on Win7 Pro 64-bit)
Downloaded OK. Started setup OK. Agreed the license, clicked Next, as required, and just got an egg-timer. Setup.exe didn't complete. I can give more detail and send screenshots if required. I aborted the installer and tried the main app anyway. The main app started (localhost:3220), so the installation must have hung near enough to the end. But I am not sure. The main app is not filling me with confidence that it is doing useful things.

Change the display
I really like this peace of software my only grip is the UI it goes over the display to the left, can you make it so it fits all on one display page please.

Full screen waterfall layout. Use the entire browser windows
Now a day most monitors (incl. laptops) has high resolution display. Allow Bliss to use full screen please. Better use the screen realestate. I find continue scrow down and choosing display of 96 elements annoying. Please reference pinterest.com type presentation. full screen with natural extension of albrums upon pull down?
Bliss' UI is functional, but really need a make over... by a graphic UI designer... Bliss UI is still a programmers' UI.
Just a sincere comments.

Not having the compliant WHY? as hover over visibility.
When accessing the bliss page on an iPad, hover over option are not good, as you can only click on things. Selecting a not compliant title shows the why? option, but you can't click it, as releasing makes it disappear. You just need to have the Why? link available all the time for not compliant listings.

Browsing by Artist - Bug?

I love Bliss. Great job!
I have got a large number of soundtracks and compilations. Somehow the 'Albums per page view' seems to be rectricted to a maximum of 96 albums (no browsing to next page ...). If I have a look before all albums are scanned, browsing to next page works.

list of fixes
so i've spent £10 and Bliss has done '1000 fixes' but i have no way of seeing what those fixes are or how many fixes are required to fix the rest of my collection. How about a dry run button or something where bliss scans your collection, tells you how many fixes are required for each of your applied settings allowing the user to decide which rules if any to automatically fix

remember settings for "compliance is"
it is quite annoying that I have to select "compliance is: non-compliant" every time I return to the albums screen.
2 votesI’ve added “Back to list” and I consider this fixed. Clicking back to “Albums” will still reset the filter, but the new back to list and next/previous should make things easier. Also, note that after choosing new art you always now remain on the same change art page.

ability to scan for new or changed files/folders automatically
when I add a new album to the monitored directory, I need to open bliss and press the rescan button manually. I am asking for a time interval to automatically rescan the monitored folder for new files or changes, so I don't need to open Bliss everytime to press a button.

Tag browser file order is random
At the moment the order of the files within a folder in the tag browser / editor seems to be random. This is particularly annoying when you are trying to apply changes to all the files in a large box set for example, where you will be working down the list pasting in the data you want, only to scroll back and realise that half the files have been missed because the order has changed. At the very least it should be an alphabetical list of files.

$tmpdir setting
Hello I have quite small /tmp (128MB) running tmpfs on linux (ramdisk) and sometimes (quite often actually) it happens that bliss creates dump file (like bliss.heapdump.36835572621.1336862581339.hprof) which consumes all space in my /tmp which have impact on overall system functionality.
My request/question - is there way how to set $tmpdir for bliss? or even better is it possible to disable heap dumps, or direct those to specified folder?

setup.exe should be otherwise named e.g. bliss_setup.exe
WIndows doesn't seem to like files called setup.exe - it's nags might worry some users and put them off. Also makes the file easier to identify once downloaded.
2 votesThis was fixed a long time ago; Windows changed its restrictions on file naming.
It's now "bliss-<version number>.exe".

When viewing albums for an artist the "why?" link doesn't expand
When using the artist view then selecting an artist to see the albums in that artist, when you click "why?" for if it's in compliance or not, it doesn't expand to the bullet list of items like it does if you're sorted by album.
Windows XP, Firefox.

Add genre capitalization option
It would be nice if bliss could enforce capitalization of genre tags. At the moment, it seems bliss sets all new genre tags to lowercase, but leaves the old ones as they are.
Consistency would be nice.

Need new selection option to display albums starting with special characters
I have several albums whose titles start with special characters:
1's by Destiny's Child
...But Seriously by Phil Collins
...By Request by BoyzoneThese show up on the Installed screen when I select "all", but there is no option to display just those albums which start with special characters.
Another field should be added to the selection menu, before 0...9, to select these albums.
2 votesThis is now completed. A new option in the filter allows ‘other characters’ to be specified as the starting character as per the comment/workaround I mentioned.

Return to previous screen after selecting an image
I went to the "Installed - letter k" screen to change images on my 16 KBCO Studio C albums (most of which had the wrong cover art installed by bliss).
I selected new cover art for KBCO Studio C Volume 6, and bliss went back to the "In Progress - all" screen.
I would prefer that bliss returned to the previous screen -- in this case, "Installed - letter k", so I could easily continue updating images for my other KBCO Studio C albums.
In general, I think that bliss should return to the user's previous screen after selecting a…
