Display the total number of inbox items
I would like to see the total number of inbox items on the inbox page.

Good idea.
I would've done this already, the reason I haven't is because of the way the Inbox is implemented. We query the database of album compliance. That's one "record" per album. Because any one compliance record can have multiple fixes and/or reasons for non-compliance, we don't know the number of inbox items up front.
This could be fixed by pre-emptively storing information for the Inbox.
