Exception to case rules
When enforcing a title case rule, it should be possible to make an exception for abreviations so that an album can still be compliant.

cover art not uploading
I bought a track of Get Lucky off Amazon. It is not displaying the cover art. When I try to upload an image of the album art I got off the web, it will not upload. This is frustrating.

Text log, list or csv file of non-compliant albums
Hi- I've decided to upgrade the art in my collection to higher resolution. The scan has just finished of 4000+ albums and I'm getting 1106 non-compliant.
I would like to research new art away from my desktop (on which Bliss is running) and come back armed with URLs to add, or maybe just spend a day scanning CD covers :-(
My problem is that I cannot obtain a concise list of the non-compliant albums.
I have tried dumping the debug files into excel but they are too big and don't appear to be 'sortable'.Please could Bliss provide a log…

Error Report
This one is not an enhancement suggestion - just an error report. I acceepted a suggested cover image for an album, and it seemed to sit there longer than expected. So I clicked on the album title to go back to the album's page, and this Java exception was displayed near the top of the page:

Ability to autotag the Label tag.
This is essential for a DJ's and radio stations

Autopopulation of ARTISTSORT / ALBUMARTISTSORT tags
Most file formats allow for an artist sort (and album artist sort) tag which music apps can use to organise tracks.
E.g., I have:
ARTISTSORT=Minogue, Kylie
ALBUMARTISTSORT=Minogue, Kylie.. in my ogg files.
It would be good to force these tags (data might be extracted from musicbrainz).

Possibility to set file types to scan
At the moment, bliss scans all file types of mp3, m4b (, ...?) in the given folders. If I don't want to scan audio books it's not possible, so these entries appear also in bliss.
I would like to have some check boxes in the settings where the supported file types can be activated or not.2 votes -

Individual rulesets for different locations.
Since multiple music folders are close to implementation, I want to be able to specify different rulesets for different folders.

txt based overview of changes AKA Excel sheet style
A similar idea has been posted like this, but I think this is different enough for a new idea.
Like in the other post is said, having a program "run" around in your music database with a carte blanche is freaky scary. Specially if the program hasn't yet been able to prove itself to you. In any case I still like to have some sight in what is going to happen with my music before saying, YES!
Bliss has already have a method to show what he's up to but I find it not easy enough for batch editing. I…

Bliss to not Edit the albums Date Modified on flac files on a refresh.
Every time I perform a re-scan of the bliss library, the “Date Modified” on my FLAC files folder on my PC becomes mixed up.
I use the “Date Modified” option to sort my albums as I have been adding them chronologically, to remind me of which are recently added.
The problem the re-scan does is, for example, an album I added some months ago will then be found at the top of the “Date Modified” list, making this method of organization not work.
It would also be useful for the "Date Modified" not to be changed after adding compliance information…

Distinguish albums with the same album name from the same artist by year
Some artists release several albums using the same name (e.g. Weezer with 3 albums named "Weezer"). These currently will appear as 1 entry in bliss, making it hard to assign different artwork for each entry. Suggestion: check if entries exists with the same album name but different years and file them as [Album Name] ([Year]).

Genres are a pain. With a large collection you are bound to have over a hundred genres. Fix song genres to a standard, limited set.
Everyone seems to call a type of music by a different name, sometimes expanding on the name, or hyphenating it, or not capitalizing it, or abbreviating it, or.... Well, you get the idea. Then there are sub-genres, and geographic genres. A mess!

Adding a "Restart bliss" option to the web interface.
This is a feature that I did not think would be needed, but with the latest version being released I was not able to see the update from the web UI until bliss was restarted. Since I run bliss on CentOS, there is no provided init scripts and the one I have created only starts bliss so the easiest and quickest way for me to reboot bliss is to bounce my server (which also serves media via SubSonic).
The update process restarts bliss at the end so I assume the code for a restart is already written and could easily…

Display more files
Redesign the main interface page to take up less real estate and dedicate more lines for the display read out.
I have Thousands of files and viewing them on a screen 96 at a time is difficult. Increasing the default to 250 or 500 or 1000 or all would be awesome.
Also tighten up the display a smaller font and no lines spacing between the lines would be helpful

Use variables in cover art file name
Use variable such as <album name> when Bliss downloads and renames album art for the folder.

A quick and easy way to add one album
Unless I am missing something, when I rip a new album to my NAS, bliss basically has to rescan the whole library to find and process the new item. And with items stored on a NAS that can take a long time. I'd like to be able to direct it to the specific album so that it can get straight on with it, and stop processing when that one item is complete

Stop processing cover art sources when one has been selected
It appears that bliss continues to poll sources of cover art even when you have made a selection from those already found/ Once a selection has been made further polling should stop
