Bliss Docker Container
With the introduction of Docker to a number of NAS devices, in my case Sinology, it would be great to have a Docker Container to enable Bliss to run.

Tag correction
Make Bliss a one stop shop. When initial tags are wrong following ripping, want an option for Bliss to first fix tags prior to fixing the rest of the structure.

a stop button
to make it stop!
10 votesThis feature has now been released: http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2011/09/27/new-release-20110922/index.html
There will be three buttons: play, pause and rescan. bliss can be either in ‘play’ or ‘pause’ mode. ‘Rescan’ is only possible when in ‘play’ mode.
‘Pause’ pauses all file scans and assessments. ‘Play’ restarts them.
Please, let me know any comments about the suggested changes.

Add option to save preexisting cover before overwriting
Could you add an option to save a copy of any preexisting cover, whether embedded and/or standalone to a user-defined filename before bliss replaces? Would be a prerequisite before I unleashed bliss on my entire library where bliss would predominantly be looking for larger artwork and I would want to confim quality before removing the preexisting coverart.

Ability to tell bliss to apply to all - the inbox
When Bliss suggests an action in the inbox, for all similar suggestions be able to tell it to apply all.
EG Genre Change from Indie -> Pop Rock all chnages of the same type would be applied.
Same for track numbers etc etc)(Currently I have 45000 to approve, TuneUp does this for me in iTunes but this is only where I keep a fraction of my music collection)

Control zero padding for track number in file names
The <tracknumber> token currently reads the track number tag for a music file, and uses it verbatim for the expected file path. This means if the tag says '1' it will use '1', or if '01' it will use '01'.
Additionally, if the tracks in an album number greater than nine, then bliss will also add an automatic padding of one zero to all single digit tracks.
This idea would allow users to specify they always want a minimum number of zeroes padding in their filenames, so even if there's, say, an EP of six tracks the numbering would be…
9 votesThis feature is now released, as per http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2011/12/14/new-release-20111206-padding-file-org-acoustic-fingerprints/index.html
The <tracknumber> token changes to behave as follows:
<tracknumber> : The track number as-is
<tracknumber:n> : The track number, minimum one digit
<tracknumber:nn> : The track number, minimum two digits (etc for any number of "n"s)
<tracknumber:auto> : The track number, leading zeros dependent on size of albumBecause the old behaviour of <tracknumber> was the same as <tracknumber:auto>, your settings will be updated to the latter.

Shrink artwork (due to data size) should be automatic
When art is too large (in terms of data size) the shrink artwork option is manual, I have to go through each album and click the fix. I'd rather they were all shrunk automatically.

Add <cdnumber> to custom file/folder template
I like to put Albums/Compilations containing multiple CDs into one folder. The files should then be named 1-0X Title for the first CD, 2-0X for the second CD, and so on.
Currently with bliss, this is impossible.

When choosing new cover art, show the current cover art
When bliss tell me it has several choices for new cover art for an album, and I go to the page to choose, it would be helpful to display the current cover art and its size (if any), so I can decide if the new choices provided by bliss are an improvement.
9 votesThe current art is now shown at the top right of the screen, with the current assessment as to its compliance underneath.

link only one release
The quality of the linked release are pretty uneven on some of my albums, yes I can unlink the ones I don't like/want and keep the release I find useful. But a (maybe a two state button) simpler way would be much appreciated !
Thanks !

allow once click fix for all items. not limited to 96 visible on each page.
right now the "fix all visible" button doesn't seem to work (miught be a UI issue). Regardless I would like a button to fix all issues... not just the 96 visible on a page.

Make startup scan faster - don't rescan on every start
Currently bliss seems to be scanning everything from scratch when it's started. For me this easily takes longer than 30 minutes with about 1000 albums.
I suggest that bliss should do a quicker scan in the beginning, for instance just checking whether the files have changed since bliss last scanned them. This would make startup much faster without any adverse effects that I can see.
8 votesThis feature was released in version 20110506 – http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2011/05/12/new-release-20110506-dont-rescan-on-start/
The initial behaviour is that across restarts the old data will be re-used.
That is unless the old data was created with different version of bliss, in which case bliss will rescan afresh with the same behaviour as now.

Differentiate between a fixed and already compliant albums
Currently Bliss searched through my collection and it indicates it has "fixed" tags. However, all it has really done is analyse them as the majority of tags are alredy compliant with the rules set.
I would like to see a spearate counter of tracks that are already compliant, leaving the fix counter for when a fix has really been applied.
At the same time, the ability to subset the real fixes would be good.
8 votesSince 20110615 (http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2011/06/21/new-release-20110615-activity-stream/) a global activity log shows what albums were already compliant. In part, this fixes this particular idea, but in addition I have created a separate idea for compliance stats: http://bliss.uservoice.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/1909959-summary-of-stats

Provide artist name, current art and size in the cover art alternatives interface
It would be helpful if, when I'm in the screen picking cover art, I could see extended tag information and the path to the album in question. Particularly for classical, it would help to identify which recording of a particular work I was dealing with. How many different Brandenburg Concerco CDs and recorded LPs do I have? Probably a dozen - but just seeing the album title doesn't help me pick cover art.

Interpretation of WAV/AIFF in directory structure (artist-album-trackname)
Deduct artist-album-trackname from directory structure for WAV/AIFF, making these formats usable for cover art.
7 votesWAV support has been added into bliss, so this idea is no longer needed: http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2015/11/17/new-release-20151110-aiff-wav-tagging/

allowing single digit tracks to be stored as two digits
I would like my track numbers stored in two digits. For example I would prefer track #2 to be renamed and stored as track #02.
This applies to tags, not filenames.
7 votesThis feature has now been released:
The rule is called ‘Track number length at least’ and there are four settings: ignore, auto, two digits and three digits.
‘Auto’ will work the same as the file compliance stuff – it will depend on the number of tracks in an album already. If more than nine and less than one hundred, it will be one leading zero, for instance.

Full Package for Synology NAS'
I know a manual workaround exists but would be great if this could be automated and thus optimized and fully supported by Bliss.
As a case study for understanding demand, I would point to the Hi-Drive cloud storage service which is the only cloud storage provider to officially offer a Synology package. You only have to browse their user forums to see that (I'm guessing the number) around 70% of all their userbase came from / for the Synology support.
Thanks
