Tracked them down... they were some of my Pink Floyd albums tagged YYYY MM DD, spaces in between.

Yeah, send me the actual date. Current supported formats are:

yyyy-MM
yyyy-MM-dd
yyyy-MM-dd'T'HHmmss'Z'

So not many and easy to add some new ones. The last one is the MP4 standard I think.

First, last time I encountered this was using bliss 20130617-0009 if it has been improved in later versions just ignore it. What I got was a full date in the year field like YYYY-MM-DD.
Just ask If you need more specific data.

What is the format of the year? There are some basic parsing rules bliss follows, but if your timestamp is different it won't work.

Did this lead to anything? I have the same issue when I get a date instead of a four digit year. Would it be possible to force the year field to four digits?

This functionality is less than ideal at the moment as I have no way of having just the year displaying, instead it frustratingly displays as eg. 2005-10-24. It would be nice to be able to display and artists albums like this -

2005 - example album
2006 - example album
2007 - example album etc

Not sure if this is a limitation of the actual metadata that it is pulling to populate this field.

Currently you can include album name, artist name etc. You should also be able to include the year of a release, so releases can be organised by year. For instance: artist/year/album/[...] or simply year/album/[...]
