Jump to Album or Artist Index
Similar to jumping to a specific letter when viewing Albums, add a jump to specific album index number.
When, for example, I go through hundreds of albums one at a time checking & updating cover art, I might need to stop at album index 500 of 800 and go do something else. At some point, I want to resume at album index 500 without needing to page around to get there.

Create a 'flag' for explicitly linked and explicitly not-linked releases.
For those of us in the OCD community it would be nice to be able to 'flag', on the albums page, those releases which we have explicitly linked / not-linked to distinguish them from releases solely linked by bliss.

Visualise both 'scanning' and 'fixing' activity
Currently any activity of Bliss is shown as 'scanning' in the top left side of the home screen, while it is not the same as 'active fixing / writing'
Please visualise both these activities in the top left of the home screen. (i.e. Green/Red status)
Now, by the light blue running circle and remark, it looks like Bliss is just scanning the database (looking for things to fix) for hours not knowing that it might actually be working hard fixing some detail far deep in the database.1 vote -
Offering a fix rule to replace any underscore by a space
This rule replaces any underscore (or user definable ascii character that contaminates the database) by a space

Acknowledgement/Ignore for non-compliant Albums
It drives me crazy to see non-compliant Albums in my Bliss list. But from time to time, especially for relatively unkown Albums, the informations found online are wrong. To get such a Album to show as compliant, I have to "fix" it to the wrong values.
So I think we need a Button:
"Okay, Bliss I've checked that manually and your informations, e.g. about the title name, are wrong"Or short: A Acknowledge or Ignore Button next to the non-compliant thing.
Cheers

Default cover per artist
I have a lot of live albums that have no cover art unless I find some photo of the artist and use that. The problem is, I have some artists with 20+ live albums, and changing each and every one can be time consuming. So this idea would be to allow for an optional default cover photo per artist that could be used when no album cover is present. It would be enabled/disabled per artist, making it optional.

Avoid reperforming checks against ruleset where check has already been run
Avoid reperforming checks against ruleset where check has already been run and no changes have been made to the underlying files. At present it seems like all rules are re-processed, artwork re-fetched etc.

Increase and redefine album art sizes
I'm regularly collecting 5000x5000 or 3000x3000. You're still referring to 900x900 as large. I'd consider that the smallest I'd accept

Automatic replacement of non alphanumerical symbols
I am using windows, macOS and Linux for my music library.
Sometimes I have issues when syncing to devices, or when creating playlists caused by non alpha numerical symbols.
It would be great if I could automatically replace these symbols like “/!*#+
Do you think this is a good idea and possible?

"Apply to all" for genre changes
When attempting to consolidate from a longer list of genres to a smaller subset, I have some genres which I'd like to "Apply to all" instead of manually choosing each genre per album.

Bug: album dates with month and day breaks file path renaming
I believe I've discovered a bug with file naming in my library.
Applied rules:
- albums must have year, and the year must match releases
- file path: <album artist>-<year>-<album name>It seem like if there's multiple releases identified, and the 'year' for the releases has at least one with a 'year-month-day' value (2008-04-12), then the file path naming will break.
Maybe the bug is actually that it won't set the year if it's the long format noted above? Each of these albums ends up having an [Unset] year.
To resolve this, I manually go in, specify a 4-digit year…

Allow moving files to parent directory (or allow use of absolute paths)
I'd like to be able to include the ".." within a file path rule to allow for moving folders from one folder hierarchy to different folder hierarchy -- or specify the whole path.
Yes, I recognize that this would place the moved locations of the files OUTSIDE the current directory, but that's the idea -- moving from an "unsorted" to "sorted" folder (and the unsorted pile gets smaller and smaller.)
Usecase:
All new music gets put in a folder called "C:\freshRips"
Bliss monitors freshRips with a rule to save all music (after cover art has been applied, tags have been…

Replacement for updating ripped CDs directly in beomaster 5
Pretty well as above and per my email.
There is no support from B&O for this that I am aware of.A software patch to replace the existing (now defunct) code with Bliss would be popular , I guess and additionally get you continual sales of 'fixes'.
Also i would offer an annual limited or unlimited subscription to your customers, rather than the current unlimited option which limits your income to one offs.
Subscription software for HNW B&O owners will not be noticed and potentially carry on for years.

If bliss finds playlist files (*.m3u, ...) Playlist based Rules -> see Details
*Rule to move them to specific path
*Rule to update them if needed because other rules changes something
-> like renames or move files
*Rule to General try to fix them (search best matching files in bliss and correct the playlist file entry to the found file) -> this should be made manually but bliss can suggest the entry1 vote -
Automatic cover
It would be nice if added files got deleted cover automatically and then inserted new cover.
It is not always that purchased music has a good cover.
Bliss almost always finds better cover.
But bliss just doesn't delete the cover automatic and insert a new cover.
You have to do this manually2 votes -
Is there a quick way to check if a particular CD is compliant?
Some sort of search or filter on the CD name, or a keyword included in the title?
System is brilliant, but once you have edited a CD, you have to go back to see if you got it right, and I'm a bit lazy...

Better artwork discriminators
When bliss searches for suitable album art, it frequently comes back with a half-dozen or more options, with no obvious way to tell which one is "best." I usually try to pick the best color balance, or the sharpest edges (which in my own mind I equate to "better resolution").
I'd like to know the size of the images in ppi and x by y to help me make the best choice.

Extract embedded artwork
I have roughly 100 albums that bliss identifies as having no "folder.jpg" present. Many of the albums (if not all of them) do have artwork embedded in the tracks.
It would be nice if the embedded artwork were one of the choices available to populate the folder.jpg file.

Use typographer's quotes wherever quotation punctuation appears
This may be because I’ve used a Mac, forever, but I like to use typographer’s quotes (“” ‘’) instead of their ASCII equivalents ("" '')
