Compilation/Various Artist Folders
I would like these albums to be able to tag by artist so say an albym with the rolling stones, beatles, and others would show songs as rolling stones, genre named compilation , album and song name
need to identify by artist name have multiple 100's of compilation albums

Adding support for ape & wave pack audio & 31 band eq
Please add support for .ape monkey lossless audio codec and .wv wave pack audio adding these two to the list would be fantastic, it would also be great if you could add a 31 band eq with a preamp control on it as well as a set of meters to see how much headroom you have left before clipping. I would LOVE to see a 31 band eq in this thing if physically possible, I find that most software based eq's are inadequate, even foobars eq is just only good enough as an example. Thank you for reading my request,…

Option to auto-increment track numbers as filepath and/or track number tag in ID-tag
If I have cd's with multiple discs I'd like to auto-increment the tracknumbers in filepath and/or in the ID-tag. So 2 cd's with 20 numbers eac, will be numbered from 01-40.

checking all tracks of every album for cover art work inconsistency – if different cover art files ...
... apply the one with the highest resolution (or manual choose) to all album tracks.
Thanks in advance, just bought bliss – a great piece of software!

Check for, and correct, song length.
Many of my iTunes songs are now increased in length, some by 5 seconds, some 11, some 8, some 15 seconds. What appears to have happened is that the last 5-15 seconds of a song are copied and attached to the end of the song.
I’ve tried researching it but have hit a wall. I did wonder if it was because I used iTunes Match last year in order to increase the quality of my songs (which were ripped from CD years ago at 192kbps).
If this is an endemic problem (I see that others have experienced it) then maybe…

More options in the 'Select by type' new inbox dropdown
The new inbox now allows the user to select by rule type, which is great.
But the first option "Fix find missing information' covers too many things at once. For example, I'd like to be able to quickly fix all missing year errors but not be forced to accept all the recommended genre fixes at the same time.

Provide a more evident link to the new inbox
To get to the new inbox now requires the user to click on the big blue 'bliss' logo, which is not obvious if you don't know about it.
There should be a labelled link to the inbox along the top menu, perhaps to the left of 'Albums'.

Allow submission of metadata
A form to submit data for tracks that can be stored locally or online to be able to keep special editon tracks or remixes in the album.
For example an album I have has 19 tracks (2 are remixes) whilst MusicBrainz only has 17 tracks listed for the album, this would make it so we can keep the additional tracks in the album folder.

Improve usability when one track of an album is missing genre
I have a lot of albums where one or more tracks on each album are missing genre. My rules check that genre is present. These albums are flagged as non-compliant because ONE track is missing genre.
Clicking the Album Edit button and setting an album genre FAILS to update the tracks having the missing genres.
Here's the procedure to fix EACH album:
- Open the album
- Click Choose Columns (because the genre column does not show by default
- Select genre checkbox
- Click Choose Columns
- Click in an editable field
- Tab or Return to the missing…1 vote -
Jump to Album or Artist Index
Similar to jumping to a specific letter when viewing Albums, add a jump to specific album index number.
When, for example, I go through hundreds of albums one at a time checking & updating cover art, I might need to stop at album index 500 of 800 and go do something else. At some point, I want to resume at album index 500 without needing to page around to get there.

Create a 'flag' for explicitly linked and explicitly not-linked releases.
For those of us in the OCD community it would be nice to be able to 'flag', on the albums page, those releases which we have explicitly linked / not-linked to distinguish them from releases solely linked by bliss.

Visualise both 'scanning' and 'fixing' activity
Currently any activity of Bliss is shown as 'scanning' in the top left side of the home screen, while it is not the same as 'active fixing / writing'
Please visualise both these activities in the top left of the home screen. (i.e. Green/Red status)
Now, by the light blue running circle and remark, it looks like Bliss is just scanning the database (looking for things to fix) for hours not knowing that it might actually be working hard fixing some detail far deep in the database.1 vote -
Offering a fix rule to replace any underscore by a space
This rule replaces any underscore (or user definable ascii character that contaminates the database) by a space

Acknowledgement/Ignore for non-compliant Albums
It drives me crazy to see non-compliant Albums in my Bliss list. But from time to time, especially for relatively unkown Albums, the informations found online are wrong. To get such a Album to show as compliant, I have to "fix" it to the wrong values.
So I think we need a Button:
"Okay, Bliss I've checked that manually and your informations, e.g. about the title name, are wrong"Or short: A Acknowledge or Ignore Button next to the non-compliant thing.
Cheers

Default cover per artist
I have a lot of live albums that have no cover art unless I find some photo of the artist and use that. The problem is, I have some artists with 20+ live albums, and changing each and every one can be time consuming. So this idea would be to allow for an optional default cover photo per artist that could be used when no album cover is present. It would be enabled/disabled per artist, making it optional.

Avoid reperforming checks against ruleset where check has already been run
Avoid reperforming checks against ruleset where check has already been run and no changes have been made to the underlying files. At present it seems like all rules are re-processed, artwork re-fetched etc.

Increase and redefine album art sizes
I'm regularly collecting 5000x5000 or 3000x3000. You're still referring to 900x900 as large. I'd consider that the smallest I'd accept

Automatic replacement of non alphanumerical symbols
I am using windows, macOS and Linux for my music library.
Sometimes I have issues when syncing to devices, or when creating playlists caused by non alpha numerical symbols.
It would be great if I could automatically replace these symbols like “/!*#+
Do you think this is a good idea and possible?
