The ? condition should have an else option.
I generally use the ? to check if something exits, if true do this, if not do that.
Example
<discnumber>?(<discnumber>,1)<tracknumber:nn> so if i have multiple discs I get 101, 102, 201,202 etc.. and if is only one or not set I get 101,102, etc4 votes -
Auto suggest album art based on file name or tags
For me as well as many others I would assume you end up with hundreds of mp3s that are missing or otherwise have a compilation album title. I would rather also see a list of album images from albums that contain the same (Title). Viewing that list with (Band - Album) names listed under it would greatly speed up finding custom images.

When on Change Art, please show Album and Artist details
When on the Change Art page, the page only displays the Album name, very small. Please show all the details on the album so that it is easier to see, from the results of the search, which album is the correct one.

Web-based Playlist Creator/Editor as a "Companion App"
It is a well known "limitation" of Bliss that it has the potential to "break" playlists...but playlists themselves are a pain to create - particularly in XBMC for example.
Seeing as Bliss knows where the files are (and when it changes things) it would be great to be able to define and edit playlists from within Bliss. Create a playlist, tick which tracks you want in it; automatically shuffle them etc, and output in a chosen format to a specified file location. Every time Bliss makes a change that would other wise break a playlist, it could create a fresh…

Make "Move 'featuring' text..." checkbox independant of "Artists within an album" rule
Because I'd like to authorize varying track artists and move the "featuring..." text to the track title tag in the same time.
Impossible now, the settings are exclusive.1 vote -
Unfold uncompliant reasons for all albums
Half of my clicks go to the "why?" uncompliant link, for each album.
Some way to unfold content hidden behind all these "why?" links on the page in one click would be nice.2 votes -
Switchable alphabetical sort
Currently bliss display album covers sorted by artist or album name etc.
The fact that names are sorted result in thumbnails constantly appearing before the "current" mouse position thus shifting position of album you're working on.
If albums thumbnails were displayed in the same order that they are scanned it would allow me to be more productive by not invalidating the working screen area.4 votes -
Add several "preset" alternative search options to the "find artwork" page
Add a few buttons to the "find artwork" page that retry the search, but using commonly-useful alternative search terms such as "artist and album name", "add 'EP' to title", "add 'box set' to title", and so on.

Guess Album artist when there are contributing artists
It is very common these days for an album by a single artist to have contributing artists on some track. This can make a mess, as you end up with twenty variations on "Kanye West" in your albums list. It's not hard to think of some simple heuristics that would often work, although Bliss could not always figure this out correctly.

Ability vary the depth the file path rule investigates
Abou 25% or 1000 albums in my library are marked as uncompliant on file path. The vast majority of these albums have one or two tracks that are uncompliant because the file name does not exactly match the tags and in most cases it is because the tag contains a character such as "\" which is invalid in a file name. This is not an issue to me and I would rather leave the tag alone rather than change it so that the file name is valid. I would like to able to set the file path rule so that…

Re-apply recently used artwork to a different album
I'm encountering a problem where there are a number of tracks, one after the other for the same album. Sometimes te "missing album art" search through Google is successful in finding the right cover art yet on subsequent occasions for tracks from the same album it doesn't work. For some reason the "add URL" if I copy and paste from an "Apple I" dialogue box does not work. Would it be possible to have a "repeat" or "ditto" or "holdover" tab that just held the previous artwork's details over for the new track?
Bliss is just what it says by…

Ability to enter Freedb ID directly. Instead of bliss having to search for the artist/album
I have a few discs that Bliss cant find, but i find them quite easy on MusicBrainz, there is also a FreeDB ID wich could be copied and pasted into Bliss.

Classical Music. The option to assign a single date for all albums by a composer
Release date are pretty irrelevant in classical music and I have followed the practice of tagging classical albums with the date the compose died, It would be convenient to be able to auto tag all music by a composer with a single date.

The ability to check the integrity of music files.
One way or another in large collections there always seems to be a few corrupt files. Existing programs to check music file integrity don't work well on large collections and it would be great if this was an integral part of Bliss.

Add ability to filter and print the activity log
After Bliss has completed its library scan, it would be good to be able to identify those albums which Bliss touched and, more importantly, which ones it didn't (or couldn't).
Being able to filter the activity log by "found non-compliant" or "modified" and then printing that filtered list would make it much easier to then go through and manually correct those albums

Album art for other file types...
I just realised that a lot of my music library is not even beig scanned by Bliss. I'm certain at least that all my files in musepack format (*.mpc) don't even appear in Bliss. Could this be fixed to at least scan the folder name (Artist - Album) even if Bliss cant read the mpc tags?
Thanks for writing such a great program!
Many thanks,

Ability to exclude files fron being scanned at all
Having spent many hours tidying up metadata and artwork it's really tedious to have Bliss rescan everything. Classic example is with artwork - many files have incorrect artwork (mostly classical) but of course Bliss will report these as Compliant (as artwork exists) but those that are OK I need to exclude from the scan to leave me just the ones I need to change. I suppose this is a tricky one as it would presumably mean adding a field to file itself that said 'exclude from Bliss' (and could be removed if needed).

Allow different cover art for each CD in a multi-CD set
I have several multi-CD sets in my music library. I store each CD in a separate album directory. Each CD has the same album name, but a different discnumber tag. Some of these multi-CD sets have different cover art for each CD in the set. Example: Yesyears by Yes. It is a 4-CD set, with different covert art for each CD: http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B000002JNV/ref=cm_ciu_pdp_images_all
I would like bliss to treat each album with the same album name but different discnumber and different album directory, as a separate entity, and allow specification of different cover art for each CD in the set.
