Preserve acronyms (e.g., EMI) when fixing capitalisation
It would be good if Bliss could somehow maintain the capitalisation of acronyms (e.g., BBC) when implementing capitalisation rules so that they are not inadvertently broken (e.g., Bbc).

Compilation/Various Artist Folders
I would like these albums to be able to tag by artist so say an albym with the rolling stones, beatles, and others would show songs as rolling stones, genre named compilation , album and song name
need to identify by artist name have multiple 100's of compilation albums

Manually Delete Duplicate Files (checkbox for choosing single / multiples)
It would be ideal, after scanning an album and before 'fixing' any issues, to have the capability to see the CURRENT locations of the files, the file name, file size, file type, and its bitrate. A checkbox next to the name would allow us to select one or multiple files in each album we wish to delete before we fix and create new file paths.

checking all tracks of every album for cover art work inconsistency – if different cover art files ...
... apply the one with the highest resolution (or manual choose) to all album tracks.
Thanks in advance, just bought bliss – a great piece of software!

Need a button for "Postpone library re-scan"
The "Set Genre to ..." button function on the Album page is USELESS to me ... here's why.
Upon clicking that button, Bliss immediately
- clears the "compliant" flag for all albums
- starts a compliance rescan
- no additional genre suggestions are available. Why is this a problem? Because a library scan takes hours
This means I can use the button once, but because the compliance flag of the next albug is cleared, its "Set Genre to ..." button is no longer available. I have to wait for the scan to complete before that button is available on the…1 vote -
Undo rule deletion
If you delete the rule on the Settings page by accident the only way around it is to cancel your current work and start editing rules again.

Make Synology shortcut icon more readable
Can update the Bliss shortcut icon (at least for Synology), as the blue-on-blue background renders the icon almost invisible on the blue Disktation Manager desktop screen (maybe a thin white border around each letter)?

More options for Cover art max data size
Maximum cover art data size only has these options with a max of 1MB:
64 KB
128 KB
256 KB
320 KB
512 KB
1 MBCan we up this limit, adding options in increments of 0.5 MB (i.e. 1,5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, etc.) perhaps up to a maximum of 5 or 10 MB?
My reason for asking is most of my new music is purchased downloads from iTunes, which up until recently have had art of around 200-700kb, but in the last two weeks, my recent new purchases have been between 1 and 2.3 MB.
With digital storage getting…

Make Artist list (much) smaller
Searching for albums from the artist list often requires an additional page load due to the massive amount of whitespace around the individual names.
Even with the same font much less whitespace should fit that on one page easily.

Make the Artist link in album view clickable
This should be an easy one - I'd like to be able to click on the artist name when viewing an album to get to all albums of that artist.
(Oh - same for the Album list view, btw.)

Extract embedded artwork
I have roughly 100 albums that bliss identifies as having no "folder.jpg" present. Many of the albums (if not all of them) do have artwork embedded in the tracks.
It would be nice if the embedded artwork were one of the choices available to populate the folder.jpg file.

Provide a more evident link to the new inbox
To get to the new inbox now requires the user to click on the big blue 'bliss' logo, which is not obvious if you don't know about it.
There should be a labelled link to the inbox along the top menu, perhaps to the left of 'Albums'.

Acknowledgement/Ignore for non-compliant Albums
It drives me crazy to see non-compliant Albums in my Bliss list. But from time to time, especially for relatively unkown Albums, the informations found online are wrong. To get such a Album to show as compliant, I have to "fix" it to the wrong values.
So I think we need a Button:
"Okay, Bliss I've checked that manually and your informations, e.g. about the title name, are wrong"Or short: A Acknowledge or Ignore Button next to the non-compliant thing.
Cheers

Write the expected trackNo and Name beside: Missing track number Incorrect track name
The error said only
Missing track number Incorrect track name
There are more as one internetpages to check. So I didin't know, what is the expeted result. It'S a try and error mechanism.
PLease write the expected result beside, so a correction in the tabs would be more comfortable.1 vote -
Automated deletion of duplicates
The duplicate detection feature is nice, but with a very large library (and also with with the relatively slow operation in the Synology version, at least on my NAS) it is unworkably time-consuming to delete the individual duplicates manually. It would be really helpful to have an automatic deletion of duplicates - when a duplicate is detected, it is automatically deleted based on preference rules (higher bitrate, more complete metadata, etc.). Any chance of this?

Automatic replacement of non alphanumerical symbols
I am using windows, macOS and Linux for my music library.
Sometimes I have issues when syncing to devices, or when creating playlists caused by non alpha numerical symbols.
It would be great if I could automatically replace these symbols like “/!*#+
Do you think this is a good idea and possible?
