Folder duplicate / Album duplicate
There are albums that we have downloaded twice. Or that we have in several versions (24 bits, deluxe, reissue, etc) or formats (mp3, FLAC). It is impossible to find apps that do this. Find duplicates of the albums and then analyze the paths or tags if they are similar.

Plex Plugin
plex music assignment is absolute junk.
you can add other scanners using plugin in plex. i think you have the best and that's why my idea would be you bring them to plex.

Detect rip errors ... flag tracks that "skip"
In a very large personal music library, I would like to scan and identify tracks that are inaccurately ripped ... that have skips.
I see there exists a database that could be used

How to separate albums that have the same name by different artists
How does one separate two albums by two different artists that have happened to call their respective albums the same name? I have a number of examples, but one that I can name now is Daft Punk & ELO, both have an album called discovery, and is labled with Various Artists under album artist, and the respective tracks all appear together.

Creating filesystem folders for multi-disc albums
My idea is to have an option that will create separate folders for each disc in a multi-disc album - without affecting the album title or metadata.
I like the fact that when I'm browsing my albums, I can see one cover for each album - whether that be for a single or multi-disc album. In fact I simply deplore looking at 4 separate album covers each representing a separate disc in my main collection - that's what happens when you create a different album title for each disc. I much prefer it as it is when you've got one…

Working on a subset of library to allow a step by step cleaning of library
When selecting the root folder, add the possibility to have a kind of regexp to select only a subset of the library.
I have a library with about 1500 album (20000 tracks), organised by Artists/Albums/Tracks and I would like to clean it step by step.
For example, with the regexp I could select only artists starting with A then with B, etc... The regexp will apply only to the first level of folders
This will ease the process of scanning which takes to much time.
Especially because after too many changes, the database get confused and I end up doing…1 vote -
Mark as singles
I have a directory of songs that were scanned from 45’s, so not part of an album. Can they be identified as such?

probably a bug. bliss combines different artists with the same album name
So clearly the album name is a primary key but there are many instances where the same album name is used by different artists and Bliss does not appear to handle these. "Greatest Hits" is a great example. Maybe make album artist a secondary key and adjust the logic to suit?

A way to move genres or sub libraries in and out of the library.
I have a lot of Christmas music. I only want it appearing in my library for about 6 weeks a year, the rest of the time I would prefer it be archived elsewhere. A way to move a genre or sub genre of music in and out easily would be lovely. The same with children music. Sometimes you need it in the library, but not all the time.
If Bliss could move the christmas's music out of the iTunes library until I ask it be returned would be very handy.1 vote -
Just change filenames, not full paths (i.e. move files relative to their parent)
maintain file / folder structure integrity when updating filenames. So if you run Bliss on the folder "MUSIC" it will read the sub folders as well and when correcting a file in "Music/bob" it will update it in "Music/bob" ant not move t to :Music"

Add a rule to check/correct the "track total" tags
Many downloaded albums were originally released on multiple disks. In a lot of such albums, the "track number" tags increase monotonically while the "track total" tags still apply to the separate disks rather than the virtual "single disk" of a download.
Since bliss already determines the total number of tracks on an album (so it can pad the track numbers with zeros if appropriate), it would be helpful if bliss could automatically modify the "total tracks" tags to reflect the correct total number.
As an additional option, it would be great if bliss could delete the "disk x of y"…

A rule where you can remove articles that start band names.
For instance, in order to easily find a band I'd prefer to be able to go to: R for "Ramones" rather than T for "The Ramones" etc.

Fill empty album TAG if artist and track title are complete
I have a bunch of various artists discs. I erased all the album tags and it would be awesome if bliss could search the artist and title and fill in the album tag with the first album that track was on and let me prefer whether I'd like a single or not. Next step would be moving the track into an artist/album folder structure.

Syncing Playlist & Ratings with external Music Providers
Google Music, Youtube Music, Spotify, etc.
I want a way to sync the ratings and playlists between them. Before using bliss I put all my music on google music which is now closing down, so I've decided to take ownership of my music and put it all on my NAS. However, I have years of ratings of songs and playlists in there that I will be losing in the process.
I would love to have a way to sync up with these external music providers so that ratings and playlists are synced to my library automatically for the songs that…

Allow Tagging Of OPUS Files
I now use OPUS as a preferred method of encoding as it is superior to MP3 and still a good file size, every MP3 tagger I have tried is able to work with OPUS files but would prefer the automation of bliss.

Repair or correct Date Added values
A recent motherboard failure forced me to completely recreate my iTunes library. Now every track in iTunes shows that restore date as the date that track was added to iTunes. It would be nice to have correct, or even approximately correct dates for all tracks, if possible. Oddly enough, the other date fields for the tracks are still valid.
One approach might be to examine all the other Date fields: Last Played, Purchase Date, Last Skipped, Date Modified, and use the earliest valid date found as the Date Added value.
Having the correct Date Added values has some significant sentimental…

Remember criteria for Album List so you can go back to it with a click.
Remember the criteria that produced the current Album List so you can come back to it. Like, select Noncompliant albums, go in to fix one, rescan, then click "back to album list" and it takes you back to noncompliant albums, instead of ALL albums.

Make artist name for various artists configurable
For compilation albums Bliss currently uses "Various" for "album artist" variable. This value should be configurable (e.g. to allow to use "Various Artists" instead).
