My idea is to have an option that will create separate folders for each disc in a multi-disc album - without affecting the album title or metadata.

I like the fact that when I'm browsing my albums, I can see one cover for each album - whether that be for a single or multi-disc album. In fact I simply deplore looking at 4 separate album covers each representing a separate disc in my main collection - that's what happens when you create a different album title for each disc. I much prefer it as it is when you've got one cover, but when you go inside you can see all the tracks, but grouped by disc.

However when I want to grab a particular track or a particular disc from a multi-disc album from the filesystem, it becomes a bit more of a challenge. And I do often find myself playing tracks directly from the filesystem, from different OSs.
