Having many fix options is clunky in the "new" inbox
The new inbox is really clunky to set the genre from the suggested list.
In the original inbox, I could quickly "page down" to the button I wanted.
In the "new" I 1) don't see the whole list on the page and 2) have to click a horizontal scrollbar and 3) the scroll bar doesn't work (I'm using 64-bit Java which could cause that problem I suppose).1 voteThe horizontal scrolling has been replaced by an expandable vertical panel: https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2020/01/21/release-20200117/

More of a question ...
If I buy the license will I be able to run it across multiple platforms (I'd buy the unlimited one). I run wlinuz and windows at home. I tested the windows version but i'd probably run it on a linux box instead for actual heavy lifting.
Does it support audiobooks? That would be handy as well. It did alright with a couple I had but missed a bunch of others when I tried it.
Did nice work on the music library though. If the license isn't platform dependent I will likely pick it up.

Bliss needs to skip snapshot subdirectory on QNAP NAS
With snapshots enabled, QNAP NAS boxes create a read-only subdirectory called @Recently-Snapshot in shared folders (like Multimedia). Bliss gets confusing when it traverses this directory. Finds potentially dozens of duplicates and can't fix problems (which it shouldn't).
Bliss needs a way to skip this subdirectory all together. Until it does, Bliss is pretty useless for libraries stored on a QNAP NAS.
1 voteIgnoring @Recently-Snapshot by default is completed.

@Recycle is already ignored.

Apply Rule Move (Ensure Path) should be always the last executed Fix
Apply Rule Move (Ensure Path) should be always the last executed Fix
My Problem is very often if I click "Fix "all" " button on album page.
And lets say 2 changes are required:
Apply genere and move -> I got nearly every time the following exception
-> Genere is not apply because of FilenotFoundException.
-> UI still displays the Album but linked to the "old Path" so click fix again does not work, I had now to rescan my library to let bliss detect the new path and click fix again to finally get Genere applied1 vote -
I purchaced unlimited fixes (using Paypal) but never got any code to enter to bliss.
Send out the code to users who spend a lot of money to buy fixes!!!
(Yes I am really pissed!)

NO blog entry for the latest version 20190611
Hello, thank you for the latest release of wonderful bliss :)
Do you plan to add blog entry describing changes in latest version?
Thanks
1 voteThis was posted here: https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2019/06/18/release-20190611/
Maybe some sort of CDN caching problem was preventing you seeing it?

Possibility to configure base url
Bliss runs on / (root) as a web service. This isn't suitable if there is also a reverse proxy like nginx running which has problems to display content if the website is redirected to http://whatever/bliss/
1 voteThis is fixed and released, see the comments below.

allow scanning without it costing fixes
I am disappointed that each time I only want to scan for the non-compliances and not fix anything yet. However, bliss charges already for the scanning, so each time you rescan it costs fixes.
Or am I doing something wrong?1 voteThis is now done – all rules can be set to manual, so a scan can complete with no cost (in the event that something is non-compliant and has a fix).

previous version download
Hi Dan can not seem to find the older previous versions for download.
Are these still accessible somewhere ?
Wanting to drop back one version on the windows pc to see if same errors are been shown.rgds Ian
1 voteBy co-incidence, we will rename installers and begin installing them from the next version onwards.
The “vanilla” cross platform installer should work for you – for this get it from:
https://www.blisshq.com/downloads/bliss-install-20171212.jar
Change the version number and you should be able to go a few versions back.
Once downloaded, double click to start or on the command line:
java -jar bliss-install-20171212.jar

renewals should extend based on expiration date, not renewal date
I just purchased a renewal and noticed that my new expiration date is a year from when i purchased the renewal, not a year after my current license expires.
1 voteJust cleaning – up this was fixed back in 2017!

Adding a reference to the folder the album files reside in
When bliss founds a noncompliant album, it would be useful to have a reference to the folder the files are stored in, since (especially in large collection of classical files) a file name like "Allegromanontroppo.flac" is not self-explicative, especially when metadata are of subpar quality and/or missing, while allowing to know that the file is in the folder - say - "BeethovenSymphonies_Karajan" would be of great help in identifying a suitable artwork.
1 voteThis has been available since we added the per-album tag editor – see https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2018/03/01/release-20180301-album-tags/
In the next beta the ability to copy/paste file and folder names will also be available.

A "Fix All Visible" button on each non-compliment album
Firstly, great program. Lovely interface and easy to use. Would be nice to have a "Fix All" button on the spin-down "Why?" button of non-compliant albums. The only issue with the "Fix All Visible" in the inbox is that if (like me) you are re-doing your entire album then you can't really risk going for it in-case a couple of the "fixes" are mismatches. etc.

Enable bliss to read embedded art that is >7MB in size
bliss is unable to read such files and hence the files show as non compliant and it can't downsample the image to fix the problem
1 voteFor now, the solution is to assign more memory to bliss as per https://www.blisshq.com/support/faq/general/assign-more-memory.html

COMPILATION token
This is not really a new idea. It's what I believe is a simpler way to implement the idea already presented by others regarding how to organize compilations. Adding this as a comment on all those threads probably would have come across as a bit annoying.
Some folks put compilations (and other special case releases) into separate folders and then use the ability to create multiple rulesets for those folders. This is great if you WANT to seperate these items, but it shouldn't be a REQUIREMENT. I prefer wide over deep where folder/file structure is concerned.
The COMPILATION (all caps…

that the <disknumber> allows for the use of :nn in the same way that <tracknumber> does
Please can you add the same functionality to <disknumber> that <tracknumber> already uses ?
So that <disknumber> allows for the use of :nn
It might seem a little OCD, but i like my Disk_xx folder to all be 2 digits, and without the :nn - I'll have re-tag all the files

Doesnt' work...
...with music stored on a NAS. Bliss only works with music on my local HDD. :( Please make this more clear in your documentation. I'm off to see if I can find another way to automate adding missing artwork to music.
1 voteHi – bliss should work fine with music on a NAS – see http://www.blisshq.com/support/faq/install-first-use/networked-music-collection.html
Please get in touch via http://www.blisshq.com/contact.html and we’ll see what the problem is…
