An option to provide a popup or audible signal when a folder has finished processing.
That's it really! At present it seems one just has to watch the processing files running count top left until it disappears.

Type album and artist name once in Untagged page
The ability to add/edit the tags in the Untagged page is useful but typically the album and artist name is repeated for each track in an album. This means a lot of copy and pasting, and is especially annoying on a tablet or mobile phone.
It would be good to either provide a way of copying the entry to all files for a given tag, or having something more like the Album edit view where album-level tags are entered just once.

Populate Untagged album info from a URL
In the Untagged page, I should be able to provide a URL or drag and drop a URL, bliss parse the content on the URL and populate the album data as a result.
Initial implementations could cope with agreed sources of data. E.g. Discogs and MusicBrainz would be easy to use, because we already have the data there, so just need to look up the data given the URL.
Other popular sources may be:
- Amazon
- All Music Guide
- Last.fm

Sort albums by bitrate
Add sorting albyums and naming almum folders with the average bitrate number.
This is to be able to differentiate your HQ musing from scum.

Allow us to mark albums as "done"
Another really useful feature would be to be able to mark some CDs, or even directories of CDs, as "done", i.e., I am satisfied with these and bliss should ignore them in future unless I ask to see a full list (or I change the settings).
This would have 2 benefits - it could make bliss faster by letting it know it could just ignore certain items, and it would make it faster to see what bliss has done with something newly added which wasn't as expected (e.g. unexpected artist name / title etc).

Fixup [disk 1] / [disk 2]
Multi disk CDs often get metadata for title such as "foo [disk 1]" foo [disk 2]" It'd be nice if bliss could fix this up so that the correct disk 1 of 2 was in the tags, and the title was fixed to "foo" Bonus points for handling all the random combinations of [], () disk vs disc etc.

Reduce data size: by compression rather than resizing
I have Bliss set to ensure my art is less than 1mb, but I ideally like a pixel size as large as possible to future proof it for use with applications. I was surprised to find out 'Reduce data size' does so by reducing the pixel size of images. How about incorporating some form of lossy compression that retains the image pixel proportions, but compresses the data in the image just enough to get down to the file data size setting? I'd imagine this wouldn't greatly affect the quality of images, but would reduce data size without having to shrink…

More comprehensive user guide
I've found Bliss hard to get into, as I didn't understand how it was scanning, what was being fixed automatically and what the numbers in the summary after scanning meant (had they been fixed? Did I need to still fix them all manually?). Other questions sprang to mind: What is the "Inbox" for (I thought Bliss automatically fixed the things listed in there)? Why can I only fix visible things in the Inbox a page at a time (why not one click to apply all fixes)? What do the different reports in "Activity" mean (why does it tell me a…

Specify Tags - with the ability to remove "unwanted"
The ability to specify the tags you'd like applied to all tracks, and remove/clear any that aren't on the list. For example, if "Comment" isn't on the "allowed" list of tags and the track contains the "Comment" tag (with data in), an option would clear that tag, and remove it (if possible).
Things like "Encoded By" etc are annoying tags that just add bloat (IMO). It would be nice to have the ability to strip these tags automatically.

Ability to select mutliple rows in the tag editor - for e.g. Artist or Album Name and paste into all selected at once
Ability to select mutliple rows in the tag editor - for e.g. Artist or Album Name and paste into all selected at once - would be very useful for adding artist and album names for missing albums.

move subdirectories too when moving to new structure
I happen to have a library of more than 4000 album ripped with EAC. I put rip info in an /INFO subdirectory of the album and the scanned album art (which can be multple files, sometimes whole booklets) in an /ART subdirectory. It is very nice that Bliss can reorganise my structure (and insert stuff like disc number, track number ane year) however after bliss is done, the original directories remain with their corresponding /ART and /INFO dirs. I don't want bliss to do anything with these files, consider them to be master information (like masters of your sourcefiles). But…

Has anybody tried using bliss on an installation of "Daphile"?
See: http://www.daphile.com This is similar to vortexbox and I think I'll give it a try. If it is somehow better than vortexbox I'd like to have bliss with it, of course... :)

Play nice with Kodi
Kodi (formerly XBMC) is my, and a few million other people's, media player of choice. To make a good looking library Kodi uses various image files as 'posters', 'fanart', 'slideshows' etc. as well as the standard folder.jpg/cover.jpg. Kodi also likes to save various kinds of extended metadata in xml-format NFO files in the library path under the artist and album folders.
It would be nice if Bliss' file handling rouines could at least learn to keep the relevant NFO and image files in the right place relative to the music files when renaming and so on.
Even better if Bliss…

Carry on from where it left off
Having Bliss back to work where it left off when restarting would be very useful especially for NAS devices with scheduled start / stop package.
(allows you to run Bliss only at night to save memory/cpu when you use the NAS at day)67 votes -
a new file name parameter rule for "Various Artists"
I'd like to have a rule that allows me to add Artist name to the file name as follows: <tracknumber:nn> - <artist name> - <track name> only when the album artist = "Various Artists"
The normal naming convention is <tracknumber:nn> - <track name> when the Album Artist does not equal "Various Artists"3 votes -
Copy files to new folder
Can i make bliss to copy files instead of move them?

Import folder
A folder to watch for new music, to help keep the library folder clean. We could specify a separate folder path to watch for new music, and it could move the music to the library folder once it has cleaned it all up.

Missing tracks in albums should be detected
Title says it all I think.
BLISS should (optionally) check if an album in a collection is complete or if it's missing songs and possibly even display the missing ones, so I know which ones to buy.
Pretty much like this beets plugin http://beets.readthedocs.io/en/v1.3.19/plugins/missing.html

Ability to manage multiple folders / libriaries
I have a directory with Hi-Res sound, which i would like to keep separate from all other music i have in lower quality.
Would be nice to have them tagged as bliss does, but keep them separate.
