Play nice with Kodi
Kodi (formerly XBMC) is my, and a few million other people's, media player of choice. To make a good looking library Kodi uses various image files as 'posters', 'fanart', 'slideshows' etc. as well as the standard folder.jpg/cover.jpg. Kodi also likes to save various kinds of extended metadata in xml-format NFO files in the library path under the artist and album folders.
It would be nice if Bliss' file handling rouines could at least learn to keep the relevant NFO and image files in the right place relative to the music files when renaming and so on.
Even better if Bliss could read and even write Kodi NFO files as a supplement to tag data.

Thanks.
Can you explain in more detail what you mean by an override?

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, it seems ;-) It's a while since I've tried to be honest but I think Bliss gets confused by NFO and image files at the artist folder level and it ignores images within the <extrafanart> folders used by the slideshow feature I think.
I was thinking also that the NFO files could be useful as a genereric 'override' file for special case albums and music files that Bliss doesn't know what to do with ...

At the moment, I think bliss will move the files but the other files will be retained in the same place.
I think it should move the other images, doesn't it do that?
