I came to the conclusion early on that iTunes was useless for any serious music collection, so this doesn't get my vote. I'd find XBMC integration much more useful.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, it seems ;-) It's a while since I've tried to be honest but I think Bliss gets confused by NFO and image files at the artist folder level and it ignores images within the <extrafanart> folders used by the slideshow feature I think.
I was thinking also that the NFO files could be useful as a genereric 'override' file for special case albums and music files that Bliss doesn't know what to do with ...
