Ability to tell bliss to apply to all - the inbox
When Bliss suggests an action in the inbox, for all similar suggestions be able to tell it to apply all.
EG Genre Change from Indie -> Pop Rock all chnages of the same type would be applied.
Same for track numbers etc etc)(Currently I have 45000 to approve, TuneUp does this for me in iTunes but this is only where I keep a fraction of my music collection)

ability to scan for new or changed files/folders automatically
when I add a new album to the monitored directory, I need to open bliss and press the rescan button manually. I am asking for a time interval to automatically rescan the monitored folder for new files or changes, so I don't need to open Bliss everytime to press a button.

Tag browser file order is random
At the moment the order of the files within a folder in the tag browser / editor seems to be random. This is particularly annoying when you are trying to apply changes to all the files in a large box set for example, where you will be working down the list pasting in the data you want, only to scroll back and realise that half the files have been missed because the order has changed. At the very least it should be an alphabetical list of files.

When choosing new cover art, show the current cover art
When bliss tell me it has several choices for new cover art for an album, and I go to the page to choose, it would be helpful to display the current cover art and its size (if any), so I can decide if the new choices provided by bliss are an improvement.
9 votesThe current art is now shown at the top right of the screen, with the current assessment as to its compliance underneath.

Provide artist name, current art and size in the cover art alternatives interface
It would be helpful if, when I'm in the screen picking cover art, I could see extended tag information and the path to the album in question. Particularly for classical, it would help to identify which recording of a particular work I was dealing with. How many different Brandenburg Concerco CDs and recorded LPs do I have? Probably a dozen - but just seeing the album title doesn't help me pick cover art.

Full Package for Synology NAS'
I know a manual workaround exists but would be great if this could be automated and thus optimized and fully supported by Bliss.
As a case study for understanding demand, I would point to the Hi-Drive cloud storage service which is the only cloud storage provider to officially offer a Synology package. You only have to browse their user forums to see that (I'm guessing the number) around 70% of all their userbase came from / for the Synology support.
Thanks

Capability do delete inconsistent entries in the database
After changing title or artist tag of an album with an external program, bliss' automatic reorganization of files and folders makes the changes accordingly but leaves the previous entry in an inconsistent state, showing 'Unkown' and a number of errors. It would be useful if the compliance filter could be added with an entry to filter these albums, giving a resulting page where each album found has a delete button to get rid of these inconsistencies, instead of doing a complete rescan of the music library.

Tag editor - filter by album and/or artist name
Currently the tag editor displays all albums (a page or two at a time) that I have in my collection. It would be great to be able to filter by album name and/or artist name.
That being said...it's still pretty convenient.

Add the ability to ignore albums where correct artwork can not be found
When going through the list of albums where bliss can not determine which artwork to add to them, you ca not always find the correct artwork.
There should be away of marking these to ignore, so that the list only contains those which have not been actioned.
At a later date, I might then like to go back to them or have bliss re-search for artwork.
This is needed as currently, I have a huge list full of albums where only incorrect artwork is available.3 votesThis feature is now available for download.

Interpretation of WAV/AIFF in directory structure (artist-album-trackname)
Deduct artist-album-trackname from directory structure for WAV/AIFF, making these formats usable for cover art.
7 votesWAV support has been added into bliss, so this idea is no longer needed: http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2015/11/17/new-release-20151110-aiff-wav-tagging/

$tmpdir setting
Hello I have quite small /tmp (128MB) running tmpfs on linux (ramdisk) and sometimes (quite often actually) it happens that bliss creates dump file (like bliss.heapdump.36835572621.1336862581339.hprof) which consumes all space in my /tmp which have impact on overall system functionality.
My request/question - is there way how to set $tmpdir for bliss? or even better is it possible to disable heap dumps, or direct those to specified folder?
thank you2 votesThis is covered by the VMARGS variable (see comments)

Standardize Capitalization of Tags (Album, Title, etc)
I (like most of you) am a bit anal about my music collection. I prefer all my tags to follow proper capitalization rules. I've standardized all my album names to match case wise ("A Hard Day's Night", "Beatles for Sale"), but applying these same rules to the track titles is just not feasible to do manually. Some of my track titles have every word capitalized, others have no capitalization. It would be great if there could be an option to allow bliss to correct tag capitalization. It could have an option to follow standard title rules (something like http://grammartips.homestead.com/caps.html),…

Ability to set "Fix track numbers automatically" in the settings
I have discovered I am really really tired of clicking "Set track to 01, Set track to 02, Set track to 03 .... over and over again in the User Interface. Why can't Bliss just do that????

Automatic year and genre tagging
Currently, when I configure my rules to require year and genre information, bliss finds all albums without that information and where possible offers alternatives.
This should be automated, so it works like the cover art lookup.

Make it easier to see what has been fixed
The activity page tells me about the compliancy of my collection but I can't see what has been fixed. I can tell some fixes have been used but not sure what on (I wanted to check that I liked what it had fixed). Also, it would give me an idea of how far 1000 fixes would go if I bought them.

[Artist consolidation] Strip whitespace from artist names
Part of the artist consolidation rule should be to trim whitespace (tabs, spaces etc) from the start and end of the artist name.

setup.exe should be otherwise named e.g. bliss_setup.exe
WIndows doesn't seem to like files called setup.exe - it's nags might worry some users and put them off. Also makes the file easier to identify once downloaded.
2 votesThis was fixed a long time ago; Windows changed its restrictions on file naming.
It's now "bliss-<version number>.exe".

allow a picklist when genre is wrong
Reprise is not an allowable genre Allow genre: 'Reprise'
It would be nice if the system gave me the allowed genre's so that I could pick the correct one off a list. As it is, you can't change it at all, and have to use a tagging program.

Filter albums by compliance type e.g. all albums without cover art
Imagine I have the file org and cover art rules enabled and my music library has been scanned. I want to simply fill in all missing art first, but all albums with non-compliant file paths will also be listed under the 'uncompliant' filter.
I'd like a more specialised filter that shows [un]compliant albums for each rule. This way, I would be able to see all albums that have uncompliant genres, or compliant cover art.

add <trackartist> to the set of tags available for "organize folder"
Like it says on the tin...
Many compilations have an overall album artist (eg. "various Artists") but a separate artist for each track.
It would be absolutely brilliant to allow one format for single-artist discs (eg. <track> - <name>) and another for compilations (eg. <track> - <artist> - <name>), possibly by using the ID3 compilation flag.
