An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks - this would require support to be added to the underlying tagging library (Jaudiotagger). I would've thought the container format (Ogg) wouldn't be that much different between Vorbis (which we support) and Opus, but it looks like not everything works out just yet.

An error occurred while saving the comment I can totally understand why you'd want to retain this.
Currently bliss only reads/writes the fields inside the music files. Are you sure this data is stored inside the music files? It sounds like something that would be in an iTunes database.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ah, yes, I think the problem here is that because you've fixed the album, the "return to album list" link forgets that you were originally on non-compliant albums.
I think the back button *should* work for now...

An error occurred while saving the comment My albums are in a cardboard box in the spare room sorted by whatever order I threw them in... I don't listen to CDs!
An error occurred while saving the comment I suppose we all have our own approaches!
An error occurred while saving the comment Do you mean _all_ albums sorted by year, or have year links and then show _only_ albums in that year?

An error occurred while saving the comment Dave - there is a way to have custom min/max settings to narrow it, e.g. to 450-550. See https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2018/01/09/custom-album-art-sizes/ . Also note the caveats.
An error occurred while saving the comment I merged an idea from Bernard Danino:
The settings available in the interface do not in the end strive for the biggest cover art size available, if you wish to be it so.
Instead and although you set no maximum size it will usually settle for some averagely low cover art.An error occurred while saving the comment Ok, so are you saying the automatic fetcher should still install art that is better, but not necessarily compliant?
An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for this. It sounds like your main idea is a way to have graduated sizing requirements. I wonder if this other idea could be adapted to fix the situation: http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/2025863-provide-a-preferred-size-option-for-selecting-al
You could say:
ideal: 500x500+
ok: 300x300+Everything else is disallowed. What do you think?
Regarding genres, please get in touch via email and attach a debug archive (see http://www.blisshq.com/support/reporting-problems.html ).
An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah this makes sense. Consider the use case that you really want art for all music but you want it to be as high quality as possible. So you set the minimum size low or leave it unset to make sure as much art as possible is found, and you run the chance of smaller art being chosen when larger art is available.

An error occurred while saving the comment We don't have an Android version, no. Typically, for use with a portable player you could install bliss on a different Windows, Mac or Linux based computer (if you have one) and fix your library from there.

An error occurred while saving the comment Agree that more information would be good - you can see the buttons to delete files though, right?

An error occurred while saving the comment Ah yes - that should workaround it, but at the expense of larger (in terms of data size) images...

An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah, this has come up a couple of times in the past few weeks...
An error occurred while saving the comment No, if there's already art there it won't see the "folder" file has been changed and re-embed...
An error occurred while saving the comment Have you tried BatchPhoto? On a Linux platform, Image Magick will probably do it somehow.
What you could do is:
- Set bliss to remove embedded art
- Apply rules - all embedded art removed
- Run separate software to convert the folder.jpg files
- Set bliss to embed art (bliss will embed from folder.* if "folder" is set in the cover art filename field)
- Apply rules - all non-progressive JPEGs embeddedTake backups first ;-)
An error occurred while saving the comment Is this for embedded art?
For image files, you could use a separate image processing app.

An error occurred while saving the comment I tested this and after clicking a "Set to" response, only the album in question rescanned.
A few thoughts that might help us work out what is wrong:
- Make sure you're using the latest version - there was a fix for rescanning albums there
- Did you click it when an ongoing library-wide rescan was ongoing?
- Maybe it was the "Allow ..." fix? That definitely does induce a library-wide rescanIt's probably best if you can send us a debug archive - "Help" > "Download debug archive" to support@blisshq.com . Tell us, if you can remember, which album you clicked the "Set to" fix on.
An error occurred while saving the comment This sounds like a bug - only the album on which "Set genre to" should be rescanned. I'll check this later.

An error occurred while saving the comment @brunchto that's similar to http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/5292876-distinguish-albums-with-the-same-album-name-from-t - you want a different way of grouping albums.
An error occurred while saving the comment Yep, I think we'll end up going this way eventually. Did you see http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/5490000-individual-rulesets-for-different-locations ?
An error occurred while saving the comment The idea would be to convert all files from any format to one specific format, ignoring (but including) files already in that format.
An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting comment. You don't think maintaining different versions of a file is a form of management?
An error occurred while saving the comment The idea was also partly inspired by mp3fs ( http://mp3fs.sourceforge.net/ ) although obviously without the FUSE filesystem having the mirror leads to more duplication, so it's not quite as elegant.

An error occurred while saving the comment They are great suggestions, however, can you create separate suggestions for each task? There should be one each for:
- Ape support
- WavPack support
- 31 band equalizerIf we just have one ticket for all of these it is impossible to keep track of who is voting for what - some people are probably not interested in the 31 band equalizer.

An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting idea! I assume this is to support players that don't support disc numbers? You could also have a different syntax for the track number field, e.g.
0101 - Disc 1, track 1
0102 - Disc 1, track 2
0103
...
0201 - Disc 2, track 1 -

An error occurred while saving the comment This is a really good idea and would working nicely with the singular artwork rule.
Obviously, there would need to be some way to access the playlist. Does GPM make it available? Can it be exported? It would be interesting to see what format it is in.
