Detail a refund process on your web site for people who expectations this software fails to meet because emailing back and forth is time consuming for all parties involved and it helps with the validity of the software.1 vote
Thanks – we’ve already got this, see https://www.blisshq.com/buy-fixes.html
“If you’re not thrilled with our software, we don’t deserve your money. Simply contact us and we’ll process your refund within the day.”
There’s no real process – email us, we refund you.
I noticed you emailed us on Friday – it looks like this time we didn’t refund you quick enough. Sorry about that – I just sent the refund.
Hi, DSM 7.0 is ready , now bliss dont work with dsm 7.0, have you a relase date for a new package installation for DSM 7.0?1 vote
With snapshots enabled, QNAP NAS boxes create a read-only subdirectory called @Recently-Snapshot in shared folders (like Multimedia). Bliss gets confusing when it traverses this directory. Finds potentially dozens of duplicates and can't fix problems (which it shouldn't).
Bliss needs a way to skip this subdirectory all together. Until it does, Bliss is pretty useless for libraries stored on a QNAP NAS.1 vote
Ignoring @Recently-Snapshot by default is completed.
@Recycle is already ignored.
Offer the possibility of a "gap fill" for Genre and Year where those values are empty1 vote
This is already implemented – use the “Find missing information” rule. If it’s not working correctly for you – let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org
OK, so the buy a subscription hyperlink is fixed in the new version. People who are waiting for this fix cannot use the new version...
The broken hyperlinks in Bliss for the renewal of subscription for either Paypal or credit cards only offer more fixes. This is fixed in a new version that we (people who have raised this problem) cannot use.
How else can we purchase subscription renewal???1 vote
Click on the Extend your licence using Paypal link. Note that the link says £9 for 1 year.
"Renew licence for one year
Buy licence renewal now"
Click on that link to go to PayPal
Note that PayPal says that this is a potential charge of "£12.00 GBP"
From past experience, if you proceed you will be credited with extra fixes, not another year's support.
If you want people to extend their support contract this would be a good bug to fix.
Windows 10 using Chrome.
Also fails on MS Edge and Firefox1 vote
I find that Bliss does not properly handle the track name "!!!!!!!" on "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" by Billie Eilish. It keep flagging it as incorrect.
Yes, the track name really is "!!!!!!!"1 vote
Inbox: Add a button: Fix All Rules that includes every separate rule and all items for all pages (independent of the item-per-page setting of 12-48-96
(In my case I have 8 rules applied, resulting in 12 pages with 96 albums each, where I had to tag 10 to 15 rule-fixing-bars per page....)1 vote
This is implemented by the new Inbox – https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2020/02/04/release-20200128/
It is quite clear when Bliss is scanning.
The Inbox shows items to 'Fix' trust can be tagged manually.
(To me) it is quite unclear when Bliss does its fixing (including the Inbox suggestions)
(Will it fix all found issues visible in the Inbox anyway or do I have to tag each bar or button manually?)
Therefore add a button or user mode:
Fix all now/ Auto fix all on start up1 vote
This is now done – “fix all now” can be done with the fix-all button on the Inbox. “Auto fix” can be done by choosing “automatic” on the settings page (as opposed to “manual”).
Often I find I got a genre wrong, like I put in "psych/garage" when the library uses "psych-garage". So Bliss finds it and lets me make the change. So I click to change, and it runs forever before coming back showing success. OR it shows "lost connection with localhost". So I close the program, restart, and it shows ALL my albums "unknown". So I have to rescan. It runs for hours and presents the list of work in the Inbox, where I can click to make a change. I do, and nothing happens. So I go to "Album" view and it shows "unknown" again.
Any database should have indexes on the values we want to change. Genres are no different. I should be able to click "psych/garage" and change to "psych-garage" and it should be able to find all matching albums in seconds. Not hours. It should never take so long the software dies and I have to restart Java to make it work again.
I've paid for "infinite" fixes and I've tried for years to love this software. But I just can't do it. It takes WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY too long to rescan the library, and to apply a simple change.
I do online apps for a living, and my backends are always indexed a dozen different ways. My frontends don't EVER die and require a restart. I NEVER have to delete and redo my backend data. There must be a better way to do this.
Please. I want this to work so I keep trying and it keeps kicking me in the nuts.

This sounds like a deeper problem – please see my comment to send us some more info to get this fixed.
The Fix All button looks god, but is just too big a hammer to use. Perhaps if it can be done by category of fix, or by artist or album?1 vote
It should work, yes (sorry for the slow reply). Can you get in touch via email@example.com and include a screenshot?
The new inbox is really clunky to set the genre from the suggested list.
In the original inbox, I could quickly "page down" to the button I wanted.
In the "new" I 1) don't see the whole list on the page and 2) have to click a horizontal scrollbar and 3) the scroll bar doesn't work (I'm using 64-bit Java which could cause that problem I suppose).1 vote
The horizontal scrolling has been replaced by an expandable vertical panel: https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2020/01/21/release-20200117/
If I buy the license will I be able to run it across multiple platforms (I'd buy the unlimited one). I run wlinuz and windows at home. I tested the windows version but i'd probably run it on a linux box instead for actual heavy lifting.
Does it support audiobooks? That would be handy as well. It did alright with a couple I had but missed a bunch of others when I tried it.
Did nice work on the music library though. If the license isn't platform dependent I will likely pick it up.1 vote

Apply Rule Move (Ensure Path) should be always the last executed Fix
My Problem is very often if I click "Fix "all" " button on album page.
And lets say 2 changes are required:
Apply genere and move -> I got nearly every time the following exception
-> Genere is not apply because of FilenotFoundException.
-> UI still displays the Album but linked to the "old Path" so click fix again does not work, I had now to rescan my library to let bliss detect the new path and click fix again to finally get Genere applied1 vote
I would love to be able to Filter on the inbox by type Rule so that I can look at all the items that violated the Rule and decide how to fix, maybe in bulk or maybe not .... I would also be nice to be able to select some of the items in the inbox and auto apply the rule... :-)2 votes
The new Inbox allows “fix all” to be selected by rule type – https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2020/02/04/release-20200128/
Bliss runs on / (root) as a web service. This isn't suitable if there is also a reverse proxy like nginx running which has problems to display content if the website is redirected to http://whatever/bliss/1 vote
This is fixed and released, see the comments below.
Send out the code to users who spend a lot of money to buy fixes!!!

Sorry for the inconvenience Oddgeir – I sent a separate email from our support email inbox.
