A genre page like the artist page would be a real advantage for me. The tree mapping could be cool as well, but less essential. What would be super useful however would be a drop down under each album within a particular genre that lets the user select a different genre so albums can be reassigned easily.
I envisage a workflow like this:
-Open Genre page.
-Select "Pop"
-Select the wrongly assigned album by Metallica
-Use drop down to assign to "Metal"The drop down could be all genres found in the collection, or only genres in the allowed list if that rule is active.

Clear and rescan does require two clicks already, so has a little friction built in, I'd like to see similar friction on the rescan button though having accidentally pressed it twice now. Once was down to a trackpad that registered a click that I didn't intend to make, but this time I pressed it quite deliberately but thinking I was on the album page not the inbox. I expected rescan this album, got rescan the whole library.
