An error occurred while saving the comment I'm interested, what do you mean by "commercial streamers"? How do these work with regards the seeming requirement to have one file (via CUE or zipped up).
Note there's also: http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/2243878-automatic-mirroring-of-music-libraries-to-differen however CUE support probably wouldn't be in the first iteration of this, as my impression is that this is less frequently used than the one-file-per-track approach.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi, are your files write protected?
Please create a debug archive "Help" then "Download debug archive" and send to support@blisshq.com

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks Mat! First, in this ideas forum I like to keep it to one idea for each post. This way it's more measurable and easy to say when it's "done". It's also easier to discuss in the comments below.
For auto track numbers, please vote for http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/2381805-ability-to-set-fix-track-numbers-automatically-i
For auto sizing, please vote for http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/1813987-shrink-artwork-due-to-data-size-should-be-automa (assume you mean data size... auto resolution is already done)
Genre - yeah there could be better ways of matching. Could you create a new idea for this? For automatic rename, vote for http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/2387358-automatically-rename-genres
Clearing unnecessary info... ok, but you have to define what is unnecessary. Can you create a new idea for this? Maybe it should be a more general "remove named tag fields" rule?
Rescanning after allowing genre -> http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/2423185-not-to-rescan-all-after-adding-a-genre
Artist name when changing genre - on which page? The Inbox? Please create a new idea for this.
Thanks again!
Dan

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for this. I also removed 'UFID' from the title... not sure what that is.
When bliss is 'fingerprinting' it is looking up data for untagged music files to display on the 'untagged' page. All it does there is to create a fingerprint, look up the data and then store it within bliss for your approval. Then, if the tags are approved they are written into the files. See http://www.blisshq.com/support/tutorials/auto-tagging-your-music-files.html
This is a good idea... Same could be said for MusicBrainz album and artist IDs.

An error occurred while saving the comment Erm, really? That's bad. Can you send me a debug archive as per http://www.blisshq.com/support/faq/general/how-create-debug-archive.html and tell me some example albums this is affecting?

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, the Google Terms of Service do not allow use by an automated piece of software... the search has to be deliberately requested by a human.
I recently discovered the Microsoft Live image search which does cost but would hopefully allow fully automated lookup. I'll look into it some more.

An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah, a way of configuring and grouping settings for different music devices would be useful.
The Sonos settings are here: http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2011/03/19/sonos-album-art/

An error occurred while saving the comment Ok, so you mean a rule that fills in the tracknumber/discnumber tag with appropriate padding and the total? Good idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks. Of course if this was to be implemented then it would also be Vorbis Comments, MP4 tags etc for all music files supported by bliss (where lyric frames are allowed).

An error occurred while saving the comment What would you like to drag, and from where to where? Is this dragging music files or folders into the albums page?

An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah, separate request :) vote for: http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/2245580-add-a-starts-with-filter-to-the-artist-overview
An error occurred while saving the comment Nice idea. I would write it such that if *any* of the artists' albums are non-compliant, the artist is non-compliant too. Only if *all* of an artists' albums are compliant is the artist compliant.

An error occurred while saving the comment Nice point, I think this is one of those things that should just be done, no arguments!

An error occurred while saving the comment Nice idea. As you've noticed, bliss does not use existing iTunes artwork that isn't already embedded. You can embed artwork in iTunes if you use OS X using something like http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=embedart

An error occurred while saving the comment This is a really good idea. It's an example of generalising the music library selection. As well as adding extra folders, one could simply set the contents of a playlist.

An error occurred while saving the comment So, if the mouse pointer is hovering over the albums, maybe none of the albums should be updated? Would that work?
As I stated in the other idea, remember you can simply click the 'back' button to get back to the previous list rather than clicking 'Albums' again.

An error occurred while saving the comment Well, I'm no ReadyNAS expert so I don't know the process for developing an add-on.
You could start with the basic Linux installer and first of all get it installing. This requires you install a Java runtime. It's best if this is Java 6.
Once that's done, try running bliss and progressively fix stuff. My guess is that two things will break: 1) the file system event listener, 2) the audio fingerprinter. You can read about doing this for Synology (also ARM) here: http://pcloadletter.co.uk/2012/09/17/bliss-package-for-synology/
Then you need a way of packaging it all together so the add-on installs with one click.
An error occurred while saving the comment This is already available for Intel based devices:
http://www.readynas.com/?p=5624
http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=53986To have it done for ARM based would require a compatible Java runtime and various bits recompiled for ARM. This has already been done for the Synology version of bliss so I think it should work.

An error occurred while saving the comment What would the expectation be regarding automatic and semi automatic fixes? Should only automatic fixes (e.g. cover art) be executed?
You could simply run bliss and the new albums will be picked up. Knowing when to send a kill signal would be more difficult.

An error occurred while saving the comment What should happen is:
1) A spinner should show
2) The page should refresh
3) The new artwork should show at the top rightWhich bit didn't work? Can you create a debug archive and send to me (and the name of the album) http://www.blisshq.com/support/faq/general/how-create-debug-archive.html
It shouldn't automatically fix the artist name - there's no such option! Are you really seeing this? If so I'd like to know more, please get in touch by support@blisshq.com
Also, I'm surprised this is suggested by the canonical artist rule...
Nice idea though. Kind of like 'ignore', but more deterministic that you prefer that style.
