Provide more accessible information on proposed changes
While suggesting fixes (in this case a non standard artist name for "Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band" It's not easy to decide if I should let Bliss do that: The green "Set to" button is too narrow to show what it wants to do, the pop-over is too small to show me the proposed change (it's full of song names), and all that while 95% of the screen is whitespace. Why not put the proposed changes next to the individual songs instead?

Yes - I think some level of consistency is also important.
A similar UI could conceivably be used to communicate what _has_ been done.

Hi Dan,
totally valid comment. Maybe the change should be shown where it will happen, i.e. details about the proposed album level change at the album section, and details about title related changes next to the actual title? -
This is a timely request as I'm currently looking into the way we communicate upcoming changes (although outside the album page).
The challenge is balancing information and *too much* information. The obvious solution is some form of progressive disclosure (a "more detail" button") but this and the expanded panel need to be designed in.
I think broadly you're right though, it's too confusing and not easy enough to see what will be done. Although, generally speaking, if it's an album level change, all files in an album will have (in this case) the artist tag (and/or album artist) changed.
