Allow me to enter the correct file name/path when that is the non-compliance error
when I get a non compliance error, the program is not offering n option for me to enter a fix, and no automatic fix is offered, so I have to browse the folder andattempt a fix. I'm not sure why

Ahhhh... finally, I understand what the problem is then, the "Track name" tag in the file is unset. Got it. The word "unset" again was not self-documenting. I couldn't figure out WHAT was unset.
Ok, there are several possibilities... any are acceptable I think.
1) Allow me to enter the track name. ( If you do that, use two fields, one for name and one for number.)
2) Show me Bliss's 'guess' and ask me to ok it, just as bliss does sometimes for Genre.
If the track lacks a track number, do one of two things, either put "--" or "xx" in the track number and cope with that in your pathing and naming (as in "this means skip the track number" or put a bit in the bliss database that says "Please ignore the lack of a track number on this file" and put a button on the screen to turn that on.

Right. Here's how it appears for me when the track name is unset: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dan-gravell/6217089952/in/photostream (can you confirm you see the same thing, music titles ignored?)
I agree it's a bit of a dead end. At the moment you would have to use a tagger to get further (bliss should see the changes you make automatically and re-assess the file).
The file name/path can't really be corrected from this point, because it's the tags that are required. I could make the "[unset]" editable like the album details on the album detail page. I could also add a 'guess' response as to what the title might be, given the file org pattern. What do you think? If you agree, I will rename the idea slightly to reflect this (e.g. "Cope with files without track names").
The same thing goes for files without track numbers, but is even harder because some tracks legitimately don't have track numbers.

consider also this error from the same folder:
Track number was unset for Norah Jones\Others\Norah Jones - Are You Lonesome Tonight.mp3
What am I supposed to do about that? The message doesn't tell me if it's a tag I need to edit, or if the file path is the problem.

one example is in the Norah_Jones/other/ folder.... there's tracks in there from a variet of albums... but consider this one:
Track name was unset for
Expected
Norah Jones\Others\Norah Jones & Jools Holland - In The Dark.mp3Actual
Norah Jones\Others\Norah Jones & Jools Holland - In The Dark.mp3Note first, that the expected and actual are the same, and second, that I can't rename or move this from the interface. To get this out of the "uncompliant" area, I have to create a new artist folder, put the correct album under it, and then put the song in there. THere's no way to tell bliss to "Ignore the "other" folder when it comes to file paths."
and there's no way to fix the fine name problem from the UI.

Which album is this? I already have your logs...
