Take art in the iTunes Album Art folder and EMBED it in the mp3
I want to clean up my iTunes music artwork so that it reflects in Google Music when I upload it. Much of the artwork is not embedded in the mp3 and therefore does not show up in Google Music.

do not update the album screen while editing one of the albums
it constantly happens that albums are literally moved away from under my mouse right before I want to click on them or just after I have clicked on "why?" and want to select some option. If I realiza too late that the albums have shifted around, I click on the wrong one which brings me to the wrong screen so I have to go back which means I have to wait for ages until the albums show up again and I have to select "non-compliant" again etc. It's really not a user friendly interface

A command-line process-and-exit option to do post-rip one-shot runs.
As text; allow one-shot runs that can be kicked off post-rip to do a process run, do fixes, and then exit.

Increase number of media sources and add direct support for specific media streamers
Increase number of repositories searched (I'm thinking here of Google images, Amazon etc. although they might get a bit annoyed with copyright etc.)
Allow for optional naming of jpg file. For example allow the jpg to take both "folder.jpg" and/or parse the name of the Album as the title of the jpg e.g. Beverley Knight >> Affirmation >> Affirmation.jpg or to allow a custom extension to be chosen.
This leads onto support for specific media streamers. In my case the Western Digital TV Live Streaming Media Player.
WD have chosen to use freebase.com as their meta data source but freebase…

Skip automatically applying if taking more than "X" amount of time.
If BLISS gets stuck applying to an album or track it should be skipped and "sent" to an apply manually category.

I'm confused about Album art compliance
If I have album art I have selected through bliss interface, why is Bliss choosing to mark album as non-compliant?

Expose the bliss database for integration with other tools
For example, it would be fantastic if you could configure your bliss installation to use MySQL for its central data store. That way you could perform your own data lookups and queries in lightning quick time, and also even write your own web front end to your music collection.
It'd be doubly amazing if you could tailor your own database table format so that it could be compatible with other things that can use MySQL as a data store, such as XBMC and others, though that might be nigh on impossible.

Tailor the system load
My system isn't the fastest in the world. With bliss running it slows to a crawl (I don't actively work on it most of the time, but it cripples itunes). It would be great if you could set the maximum number of concurrent actions to reduce system resource usage.

XBMC/Openelec plugin
I use the wondrous XBMC as my media center. It would be nice if bliss could be configured as a plugin to XBMC that could perhaps update the XBMC library after any changes. Also, since the Openelec flavour of XBMC I use (a minimal linux distribution especially optimised for XBMC) doesn't have Java I can't 'manually' install the Linux version of bliss without compiling Openelec from scratch - which is a bit beyond my Linux skills ...

ability to tag quality and rating tag through the webinterface
I have a large music collection and play this on a great hifi system. Automatic tagging is a must have and do, but I find it hard to find specific music. I want to use the rating (and quality) tags to add while or after I have listened to the music. That way I can later find my highly rated music easy. Same for great recording/quality songs.

question about hints
In the hint:
Ensures information is filled in for the checked items. If no information is present, looks the information up online. Does not automatically fill in the information (yet!)Does that mean if the information is looked up online, it won't be completed in the tag? Or does it just mean that you can't automatically fill it in if it's not available online?!
Thanks

Keep database after upgrades
Hello,
After each upgrade Bliss has to scan all my library from scratch. Why doesn't Bliss keep the previous database and just upgrade the application?

I picked this but there were choices
For missing cover art there may be a number of choices - have Bliss select one (the first one it finds perhaps?) and flag for the user to 'override' or 'accept'.
Right now I'm looking at >900 to choose manually, in lots of them the first picture found would be quite OK and would save me many hours of clicking. But flag them so that I can review the selection at leaisure.
OK, this is essebtially what's going on right now, but the difference is that right now there's NO artwork - I'd rather have some with the wrong artwork…3 votes
