Bliss presently pulls from multiple online databases for it's metadata. Allow the user to select which of the online databases they would prefer their metadata to come from. For example:
[ ] MusicBrainz

In a very large personal music library, I would like to scan and identify tracks that are inaccurately ripped ... that have skips.
I see there exists a database that could be used
It would be good if Bliss could somehow maintain the capitalisation of acronyms (e.g., BBC) when implementing capitalisation rules so that they are not inadvertently broken (e.g., Bbc).2 votes
Searching for albums from the artist list often requires an additional page load due to the massive amount of whitespace around the individual names.
Even with the same font much less whitespace should fit that on one page easily.2 votes
This should be an easy one - I'd like to be able to click on the artist name when viewing an album to get to all albums of that artist.
(Oh - same for the Album list view, btw.)2 votes
The new inbox now allows the user to select by rule type, which is great.
But the first option "Fix find missing information' covers too many things at once. For example, I'd like to be able to quickly fix all missing year errors but not be forced to accept all the recommended genre fixes at the same time.2 votes
A form to submit data for tracks that can be stored locally or online to be able to keep special editon tracks or remixes in the album.
For example an album I have has 19 tracks (2 are remixes) whilst MusicBrainz only has 17 tracks listed for the album, this would make it so we can keep the additional tracks in the album folder.2 votes
Similar to jumping to a specific letter when viewing Albums, add a jump to specific album index number.
When, for example, I go through hundreds of albums one at a time checking & updating cover art, I might need to stop at album index 500 of 800 and go do something else. At some point, I want to resume at album index 500 without needing to page around to get there.2 votes
It drives me crazy to see non-compliant Albums in my Bliss list. But from time to time, especially for relatively unkown Albums, the informations found online are wrong. To get such a Album to show as compliant, I have to "fix" it to the wrong values.
So I think we need a Button:
"Okay, Bliss I've checked that manually and your informations, e.g. about the title name, are wrong"
Or short: A Acknowledge or Ignore Button next to the non-compliant thing.
I have a lot of live albums that have no cover art unless I find some photo of the artist and use that. The problem is, I have some artists with 20+ live albums, and changing each and every one can be time consuming. So this idea would be to allow for an optional default cover photo per artist that could be used when no album cover is present. It would be enabled/disabled per artist, making it optional.2 votes
It would be nice if added files got deleted cover automatically and then inserted new cover.
It is not always that purchased music has a good cover.
Bliss almost always finds better cover.
But bliss just doesn't delete the cover automatic and insert a new cover.
You have to do this manually2 votes
I have roughly 100 albums that bliss identifies as having no "folder.jpg" present. Many of the albums (if not all of them) do have artwork embedded in the tracks.
It would be nice if the embedded artwork were one of the choices available to populate the folder.jpg file.2 votes
I have an album that blissful is scraping incorrectly as an entirely different album from a different artist with no path of solution than to just remove the files from my blissful db. Would be better to submit the album for correction for the community at large.2 votes
"Rescan for new files" is something I often do after dropping files into the folder, "clear and rescan" is usually only necessary if something is really wrong. As the two options are very close a "really clear all data" option might prevent some data loss.2 votes
It would be nice for people that have a lot of singles in their music collection to be able to see the number of individual songs scanned in addition to total albums scanned. The use of the words compliant and non-compliant is also a bit confusing, but so is running the app in a browser window on a high port. :)2 votes

Creation of an online User-forum to log issues so everybody can see what already is been in reported, I is a lot of work to trace and report product issues, that why people can save time and efforts if one can see if the issue encountered it already reported. To discuss potential workarounds and to assist fellow users, to openly discuss potential product/user ideas for future releases etc2 votes
When bliss moves audio-files according to the rules, sometimes files get left-over in the old folder.
These can be thumb.db or other artwork.
I'd like to allow bliss to delete folders that contain only specified files, in my case: *.tmp; desktop.ini; Thumbs.db; cover.jpg
I'm currently using "Empty Directory Remover" every so often.
The contrary idea to this is this one:
I'd be okay with whatever is easier to implement. :)2 votes
