change the voting process\so many votes per category
There are so many choices to vote on now, change the process to give people more votes. An example might be so many votes in a particular category. For example, this many votes within cover-art changes. This many votes within networking support, etc.

Nice idea about splitting votes across categories, but I don't think this software supports that and to kludge it you'd have separate sites and link them together... this would be financially unviable.
I'm personally against increasing votes because I want (a) people to think about how they apportion them and (b) people to come back when things are implemented and re-use their "freed" votes.
