Add remove groups of albums from library by genre of playlist
A feature that would be terribly useful to myself, and I expect others, would be the ability to easily move a group of albums in and out of my library.
In particular, I have a lot of Christmas music. I only want to see it for the last two weeks of November and all of December. The rest of the year I want it in cold storage.
I can add or remove my Holiday Music folder from my Sonos library easily. But I would like to remove it from my iTunes library as well during the off season. Currently I remove the albums one at a time in iTunes, then add them back in November. There’s got to be an easier way!

Ok, thanks for the explanation.
This sounds like a mixture of different things.
If we had rulesets (https://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2017/08/01/ruleset-selecta/) - these are implemented for ignoring rules but the capability hasn't been made more general yet - you could have a rule for Christmas music (e.g. GENRE="Christmas") which had a different file path rule: "OFFLINE MUSIC/.../..."
In addition we would need a way of poking iTunes: https://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/1449569-auto-update-itunes-when-bliss-has-changed-an-album

This would be both moving the folders to a different main folder (Mine is called OFFLINE MUSIC) and removing it from the iTunes library. Sonos updates its own library overnight, so that is automatic. iTunes will just flag it as missing files of it is not found. So we should also be able to force update the iTunes library file in a perfect world.

This is going to partly depend what you mean by "in and out of my library".
Does this mean it just doesn't appear in iTunes?
Or does it mean the files get relocated to a different folder?
So it depends on what music software (and hardware) you use.
