Automatic replacement of non alphanumerical symbols
I am using windows, macOS and Linux for my music library.
Sometimes I have issues when syncing to devices, or when creating playlists caused by non alpha numerical symbols.
It would be great if I could automatically replace these symbols like “/!\*#+
Do you think this is a good idea and possible?

Do you mean inside file paths? Or in tags? I assume the former as you're writing about playlists.

I use the tags to create filenames and file paths

Yep - thanks - so you want to filter the non-alphanumerical (non Latin) characters out of the file paths.

Yes , both, filter them out of the tags and paths.
