Interface Issues, and Override of Automatic Fixes
This is frustrating. I have an album from Boss Hog called Boss Hog. I have an EP from them called girl+. When I rip the EP, it is tagged more or less correctly by my Vortexbox. Bliss, however, renames the EP to the name of the album, and moves all the files into the album's folder. The only way to change them back seems to be to click on the Tags header, scroll through 10000 tracks that are not in any particular order (ordered by artist, yes, but not all loaded, and not sorted by track -- that's a pretty basic SQL change to order by more than one field) and edit the album name track by track.
Difficult to find tracks in the first place, but after each edit, it quickly flashes "Success" but then refreshes the webpage meaning that for each track, I now have to scroll through the huge list again. Moreover, even though it flashed "Success" this was only true some of the time -- took editing one of the tracks 3 times before it actually changed.
So, overriding needs to be easier. And, getting to where one is going should be as well -- how about an alphabet across the top of the page so I could just click "B" to at least get close -- even better, auto detect that I have lots of "B" music, and add a "Bo" option.
In fact, this should be on all the pages -- Albums, Artist, etc. -- there does not seem to be any good reason to load up groups of 96 and fast forward to where something might be. That works for small collections, but as they grow, it is really inconvenient.
Mostly reporting bugs, please see the comments and get in touch by email :-)

Thanks for this. I'm going to close this idea, because while I welcome all feedback here it's best to report bugs via email - it's easier to gather plenty of information to make sure the bug gets fixed quickly. Furthermore, I like these ideas to be as small and as 'atomic' as possible, covering just one area.
If you could get in touch by email at the address here: http://www.blisshq.com/contact.html but before that, click the 'Help' link and then 'Download debug archive' and send the resulting ZIP file to me.
However, to answer your points...

bliss doesn't rename any album names (yet!)... the only thing it might rename, if you configure the file organisation rule, are file names/paths. The only way to rename an album tag in bliss is to click on it in the UI and type a new name or use the tag editor as you described.

Yeah, they're only ordered by folder right now. If you could add a feature request here for different ordering that would be great :)

I think I've seen this before in OS X too... I'll look into it further.

I assume you mean for the tag editor? You could vote for http://ideas.blisshq.com/forums/21939-bliss/suggestions/2768310-tag-editor-filter-by-album-and-or-artist-name or add a different idea.

For the albums and artists there is a 'Starts With' option...
