Enable bliss to read embedded art that is >7MB in size

completed Matt Khan 1 supporters

bliss is unable to read such files and hence the files show as non compliant and it can't downsample the image to fix the problem

For now, the solution is to assign more memory to bliss as per https://www.blisshq.com/support/faq/general/assign-more-memory.html

I think a workaround is to assign more memory to bliss, as per https://www.blisshq.com/support/faq/general/assign-more-memory.html

If you assign, say, 1GB it should double the allowed image size. I think you currently have up to 512MB assigned.

that workaround does the job

Thanks for coming back to me. For now that has to be the solution; the trouble is that the code libraries bliss uses to inspect the image use a lot of memory.
