Consolidate Albums (soundtracks, compilations)
Not sure if this is a duplicate of "Albums and Artists Fusion". If you think it is, let me know and I'll move my vote.
I'm after a way to join albums that have different artists (manually if required). This includes both moving the files to a common directory structure, and making the album artist tags consistent.
There are a couple of scenarios:
1) iTunes puts compilations under Compilations\Album Name\tracks, but some of my music that has been ripped is under Various Artists\Album Name\tracks or Various\Album Name\tracks or Soundtrack\Album Name\tracks. It would be nice if Bliss could identify compilations/soundtracks where multiple files in the same folder have different track artists, but the same album artist (is this in the tags?) and allow the album artist to be overwritten with some user defined value - in this case i would overwrite with "Various Artists" and then the normal renaming rules could apply and move all my files to the one folder.
2) Somehow (not sure if it was Bliss or something else) I have ended up with some albums split with a single track in a different folder by artist. e.g. artist A\Common album name\01 track name, artist B\Common album name\02 track name, artist C\Common album name\03 track name, etc. Bliss shows these as separate albums (but thankfully most music players group them together!). It would be nice to be able to move them into the same directory structure as in point (1) so they end up as Various Artists\album name\01 track name, Various Artists\album name\ 02 track name... etc.

I would typically want to do the opposite. SPlitting appart compilations to to put these tracks into their original album, wherever they came from.... instead of some stupid "2000 UK hits" album...

Sorry, I mean if they are tagged as compilations...

How do you mark an album as a compilation?

If you have tracks in the same folder with different track artists, and with an album artist (yes, this is a tag in its own right), bliss groups these into one album and gives them the album artist. If you edit the artist name in the album detail page (http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2012/06/19/changing-artist-and-album-name/), it changes the AA plus any matching track artists.
Is this not what you are seeing?
For (2), if you can mark these as compilations, bliss should group them as "Various", and then if the file org rule is running it should move them into the grouped folder. Can you try that?
