Endless Scrolling!
Now that we are at the Web 3.0 and beyond, pagination is a thing of the past ... Time for endless scrolling for bliss!
No, that doesn't mean a user waits for the entire list to load, it just means that content is loaded in blocks, continuously as the user scrolls...
Think Tumblr... a great example of endless scrolling.

Scan file system based on newest content.
When adding a new album and set Bliss to scan it woud be handy if it either only scanned the new content or start with the most recent changes to the file system so rather than waiting for the whole library to update and then fix non-compliant items they can be done pretty much straight away.

Multiple Album Art
Multiple Album Art (Front Cover)
for use in car audio systems that only read small thumbnail sized album art designated as the Front Cover. Yet still maintain a larger album art also designated as a front cover.
May need to have a option to allow this behavior as well as a threshold for the thumbnail size that is independent of the main album art.1 vote -

size issues
So, I set my rules to 500x500 min and max based on my application and some art was applied at random sizes like 320x236 or something. I then had to dig in and look to see if a 500x500 was available and lo and behold, in every case there was. Why does it not follow the rule when it pulls the correct size according to the specified rules? It costs me 2 fixes rather than one to sort this out!

Being able to use the group metadata field as a variable in naming the files before track title.
Some albums - and I’d like to do it with more of them - use the ‘grouping’ metadata field for Piece titles such as Symphony no. 9, or String Quartet no. 14 in C major, etc, in the grouping field, with the individual movements alone as the track title. This means they are nicely presented in my music playing software. Some of the albums - and I’d like to do it with more of them - use the ‘grouping’ metadata field for Piece titles such as Symphony no. 9, or String Quartet no. 14 in C major, etc, in the…

Saving "events per page" settings in Activity tab
Is it possible to have the "Events per page" setting saved. I always have to switch it from 12 to 96....it would be nice if once you changed this, the pgm would ask you if you'd like make this your default.

Ignore albums based on name
... this will give better results in (personal) collections.
I like album (or better "track") art, yes I know; it's childish ;-)
But in my collections, I love to see, lots of different art. With album art like "the best of 1999", my collection of 1999 is no fun to watch.Alright, the adult part of this is, that the match result will be much better by the tracks within this directory. And that's what I'm aiming for.
Maybe the possibility to set this on or off?

Check "Artist" Track To Known "Artist" Album First, before...
... checking against collection albums.
For example; I like to see by Michael Jackson - Bad.mp3 track, a recovering of the album Bad in stead of some collection album.
The year is also being set to the right release year (1987) in stead of the year of the collection. (And probably the right genre even so!)1 vote -
Auto tagging for albums whose tags are partially incomplete
It would be nice though if the program could address tags that are partially incomplete too--- ie. if it senses only some info missing it gi

txt based overview of changes AKA Excel sheet style
A similar idea has been posted like this, but I think this is different enough for a new idea.
Like in the other post is said, having a program "run" around in your music database with a carte blanche is freaky scary. Specially if the program hasn't yet been able to prove itself to you. In any case I still like to have some sight in what is going to happen with my music before saying, YES!
Bliss has already have a method to show what he's up to but I find it not easy enough for batch editing. I…

When on Change Art, please show Album and Artist details
When on the Change Art page, the page only displays the Album name, very small. Please show all the details on the album so that it is easier to see, from the results of the search, which album is the correct one.

Make "Move 'featuring' text..." checkbox independant of "Artists within an album" rule
Because I'd like to authorize varying track artists and move the "featuring..." text to the track title tag in the same time.
Impossible now, the settings are exclusive.1 vote -
"Start fresh" option in the admin panels" delete all previous knowledge of this installation.
After doing a substantial cleanup of duplicate files, moving junk around, moving folders and generally re-logicalizing the entire library, it became clear that Bliss was now hopelessly confused. I needed to go into the .bliss folder and clear out the database that held bliss's knowledge of the library as it was.
This was something of a pain, although what to delete was in the documentation on the bliss web site. It would be nice to have a button (with confirmation of course) that said "Start from scratch." or words to that effect.

Dynamic playlists
bliss should allow automatic playlist management.
I should be able to define a playlist, its location, and how it is made up (e.g. using genre, artist, year etc information).
When music files are added or changed, bliss changes the playlist as appropriate.

Provide a means of identifying different albums with the same name
I have albums by Billy Idol, Fleetwood Mac, Sly & the Family Stone, and Tom Petty. They are all correctly titled "Greatest Hits". Bliss does not seem to have a provision for correctly handling this situation

More comprehensive user guide
I've found Bliss hard to get into, as I didn't understand how it was scanning, what was being fixed automatically and what the numbers in the summary after scanning meant (had they been fixed? Did I need to still fix them all manually?). Other questions sprang to mind: What is the "Inbox" for (I thought Bliss automatically fixed the things listed in there)? Why can I only fix visible things in the Inbox a page at a time (why not one click to apply all fixes)? What do the different reports in "Activity" mean (why does it tell me a…

Make a war package available for easy deployment on qnap systems using tomcat
I've just installed the Subsonic 'war' package using tomcat on a qnap device and it was so easy. It would be great if Bliss was available as a 'war' package too.
